My fiance and I got the Chicken Curry and the Jerk Chicken. It was very delicious and my first time ever trying Jamaican food. The service was great and fast. Highly recommend going to this place and will be back again to try more some day!

Want to start by saying the service and the dining area were EXCELLENT. We ordered a beef patty, a chicken patty, and a couple of their side dishes. The side dishes were pretty decent, but the patties were not very good. I obviously can’t say for sure, but they were identical in taste, texture, and look to the Jamaican Patties sold at dollar tree. To be fair I decided to go back to dollar tree, and the one I bought there and air fried confirmed the similarities. Now, I’m not accusing them of actually using food from dollar tree, I have no idea, but what I can say is that the patty that cost me 3.50 tasted exactly the same as the one I can get from dollar tree for 1.25.
We enjoyed our meal at Ta-JAYS and will go back. I am excited to support them, so we can have good options in NC. They were also very friendly and wanted to be sure we enjoyed our meal.

Prepare yourself for a trip to paradise. Buckle your taste buds in! This food was amazing! And the owners were so sweet and funny. Love it! Wish i had a photo of the food but we i haled it too fast it was so good. Ask for the corn bread!
