Went today for breakfast and our waitress proceeded to tell us how she has a sinus infection and still had to work bc she has nine children. She then proceeded to state Mother Nature just came to visit her as well (she just started her period) That should have been when I got up and walked out. When she brought our food she apologized for the wait and then told us her boss was at home sleeping and she had to help the cook prepare our food. She didn’t write our order down. Huddle House is a decent restaurant, providing good food and some service. I will admit that the atmosphere feels run-down and the service is fairly slow, especially with serving the food; however, the waitress my table had this past Sunday was excellent! Also, once the food arrives, it is usually decent, even if the portions on some items are miniscule. Overall, Huddle House is a decent restaurant, and every time I eat there, I wish I would go more often.
Tayler in the New Haven, Indiana location in the Flying J was an excellent server. Food service and experience was great. I come here every chance I get as I travel through this area.
