Restaurants in New Haven

“The food is so good I don't even know where to start. Let's start with starters! Don't ever go there without trying their Bruschetta at least once. Crazy story here... I don't like raw tomatoes. Only everything made with them. However; that Bruschetta I could eat by the barrel full! I've only tried a few different main courses because I am such a huge fan of their Baked Parmesan Spaghetti 🍝!!! That I could eat by the pick-up load full. It warms up so nicely, too. Ask for extra Parmesan packets when you box your stuff up to go because you'll never be able to eat a full dish. I'd order a half order if I were you. Or split a full order with someone else at your table.

The service there is absolutely top notch! The new manager, Thomas, always goes around to make sure your food and the servers are good. Now there are people who are regulars that he'll heckle but it's all coming from a good place. Some of the servers are that way as well.

Any-who, get your butts in their seats. I feel New Haven has the best food and service of all their restaurant branches! It's small but mighty! It's a shame the place isn't bigger. That's the only downfall in my opinion.

Update: 7/24/26 I tried something new tonight
The Italian Beef. It was so outstanding that I can't even put into words how good it was. Small, succulent pieces of beef. Smothered in cheese. I had them hold the peppers but I told them to bring on the onions! The au jus was incredible! A bit salty but so delicious 😋!”

“It is a food truck on the side of a busy road, so it is a bit awkward, but it is colorful and clean. I will say that is fairly easy getting in and out of the lot.
Along with the food being really good, it is made while you wait, which is a bonus! The two ladies who work the stand are pleasant and patient as we were unsure about what we wanted to eat. I do recommend you give it a try if you are out that way.”

“Perfected pub! New Haven can rest proud and party hard, quietly, this place peaks a top a countless selection of ale houses, bars, and the like I've sampled between Philadelphia and San Francisco! It's quaint, rustic, and smartly priced. Beyond all the classic atmosphere, fantastic menu, tasty poutine we ate too fast, and wow, what a draft selection, huge! So many amazing and curious options, low and behold, the Old Rasputin of lore! Even if you cannot handle the bitter and black, this is one of the most incredible brews I've ever had. Was thrilled my buddy got to try it, need to find that in bottles!
Keep going Trion! Perhaps grab some of my city's Teays River stouts and dark stuff this winter.”

“I was craving wings today and it’s like this place popped out of nowhere and was calling my name. Some of the best chicken that I’ve ever had. Only thing that’s missing is some sauces or spice options, but other than that, every part of that chicken was devoured and if it had a cluck I’d have eaten that bit too. Staff was very friendly and the cook (I’m assuming owner) was very kind and passionate about everything he does. Hidden gem. Can’t wait to stop by again! Thank you and God Bless!”

“These pies are phenomenal! The crust on the strawberry rhubarb is flaky, light and the flavor is refreshing! The sugar cream pie is perfectly sweetened with a slight crunch of sugar and cinnamon on top. I highly recommend coming here for a delicious treat!”

“My six year old son wanted to go in and buy a doughnut all by himself. He came out with a doughnut and a chocolate milk. He had a quarter left and asked if the milk cost money (because he’s 6 lol). “Located on the outskirts of New Haven here is this huge hidden gem! Where you can eat and play. Gambling is easy and never overcrowded. The food is delicious with huge portions! Our waitress Chasity was amazing. Very friendly, helpful and on time with the drinks and food! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.”
