“Tonight I just picked up carry out and the manager Chris and the young lady who took my order and check me out Kristen was amazing. The location was New Haven. I worked for a restaurant company for almost 17 yrs and this is exactly how service and management should be at a place with friendliness, urgency and just doing an overall great job. You better keep your hands on these two because you don’t see that often anymore in place and you need to treat them right like they’ve treated your guests to make your company do well. “I am vegan and my lunch options are very limited in New Haven. Earlier this year, we were advised that we were offered a discount so I called to see if Papa Johns would accompany my diet restrictions. I ordered the Garden Fresh pizza and asked to sub mushrooms and spinach for the cheese and olives. I was impressed when I saw my pizza order - the toppings were not skimpily applied as I've had happen at other pizza establishments. I was even more impressed when I tasted it! Please know that I will be back!Vegetarian options: I was very pleased. The onions were perfectly cooked - still slightly crunchy and naturally (I hope!) sweet; the mushrooms were of a better quality than other offerings in the area and I loved that you had spinach available to add. The pepper was a nice touch as well.Dietary restrictions: Your staff was helpful and friendly while assisting me on the phone prior to placing my order and at the time of pickup. I was impressed with both of the people I interacted with. They were understanding, accommodating, polite and helpful.Parking: I was able to park right at the door.“

“I love the rodeo burgers. The half fries, half rings are perfect. The staff when I went inside were great. Guy at the window the other day, needs to get a personality. A simple here you go, need any ketchup or sauces, thank you aren't difficult things to say. He looked to be in 20's I believe he had a small tattoo on his face.“
“Always friendly and helpful staff! I am here now and they had a rush on the drive thru, but the young person who was at the drive thru 2/3/24 at 2:30pm was wonderful under pressure! He did a great job and I was so glad he was able to wear his hat with his pronouns so I could address him properly! My receipt says his name is Sidney, so thank you sir for doing a great job!“
“The bread is always freshly baked, veggies fresh, and there is no skimping on toppings, not that it's \\\"Over-filled\\\", but, it's made correctly and to my order. Hard to find a place that actually does that anymore, store is usually clean, which is saying something because it's not a stand alone store, but in a truck stop. I might be partial, bc I know one of the shift leaders Curstin, but! She does her best and it shows, because of her, I gave the 5 stars“
“Updated 10/27/23 The store was remodeled several years ago. Not really a fan of the new changes, self order kiosks. The service & food are still really good !They have a good team ! I Love the tropical island decor.. And it Still is the original restaurant design! Not the new plain, blah style ones. You know it McDonald's, by the look & big double golden arches!!!“
“This is a stand-alone store so there’s plenty of open space inside. Clean, well-lit, plenty of windows across the front of the store. Friendly, patient workers. They were crazy busy when I was there, but were keeping ahead of the orders. Plenty of free parking. Easy access.“
“I think sometimes we forget to thank those in this profession. Employees were very nice , food took like 3 minutes to get. Place was clean! Employees were really on top of the job, even was told to have a great day. The little things count! Also the Manager was even engaged to make sure order was spot on. ??????“
“We were driving through New Haven and didn't want to wait another half hour to get home and eat, so we stopped in here. I got a pork tenderloin sandwich (a normal sized one not a Hoosier sized one for those of you who know what I mean. It tasted wonderful. I told my husband it tasted like it was breaded on the premises. (Maybe...maybe not...but it tasted like it.) He got a cheeseburger and fries. He was happy with both. I would definitely come back again.“
