The staff were incredibly kind, and everyone there, even the other customers, made the place feel so warm and welcoming.
We ordered the pasta and pizza, and everything was absolutely delicious. We also really appreciated that the pasta menu had a half size option, which was a great touch. The pizza was especially impressive. You could really taste how fresh the ingredients were, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip.
We live in Chicago, but if this place were in our neighborhood, we would probably be here every few days!
If our family ever finds ourselves on another road trip through the area, we will absolutely be coming back! :)”

“We loved our experience this morning at Common Grounds! We ordered an acai bowl and cinnamon roll, which were delicious. They offered to split the bowl for both of my daughters to share, and warmed up the cinnamon roll and brought it out on two plates. Great service and friendly staff! Thank you!”

I said some other similar places used independent bowls for those with allergies. They went out of their way to purchase something to make mix in’s possible for those who may be allergic to other things that were on their mixing stone. Really wonderful experience!”

I love this place!!! I am frequent visitor. I don't necessarily go for the food though when I do it's delicious. I love their double mushroom swiss burger and fries. I am very sad they do not do their pizza burgers anymore from when the business was under different management. If you plan to get fries get a milkshake or one of their candy swirl options with it. It is totally worth it. Do not want a burger but want something to feed the whole family? Order one of their pizzas and get a quart or 3 of ice cream. If they dont have a quart already made of a flavor you want you can ask them to make you a flavor.
DO NOT GO ON SUNDAYS!!!! EVEN IF YOU REALLY WANT TO!!! Sundays are their busiest days of the week. Go as soon as they open around 11am on a week day or Saturdays. SUNDAYS ARE CROWDED!!!!! The drive thru line will be LONG on Sundays. Early lunches are your best friend and evening are your frienemy.”

“I stopped at this subway to get gas and food for me and my son after rugby practice on 4/30 around 7:45-8pm. There was one girl in the front, which is fine since they weren't busy in the front. She was so polite and friendly, made my subs fast, and put the perfect amount of veggies and sauce on them. I wish I knew her name for this review, but I don't. She had multicolored hair and looked to be in her early 20s.”
