“Like this place bc of the variety of food. The fish on Friday's is very good. Not fancy but always clean and the staff is friendly. You can get American or Mexican food.”
“Lunch specials are on point. Custom orders are always right when I receive them. Come here for lunch several times throughout the week because of the fresh ingredients. Also a nice variety to choose from so you don't get bored.”
“Great place to eat during the summertime I usually get a double order of their cheese curds with a double order of beer bartered onion rings and I also get their hillbilly burger and a chocolate shake. The business is owned by a very good family and their workers are very polite and timely. Payne Ohio is a very small town but if your driving around looking for a place to find something to eat in the summertime pay them a visit. They do have outdoor seating as well.”
“I was here for step sons birthday. Had the fish sandwich (cod) I believe with fries. Garlic bread as a starter. I'd order again. Drinks cold, and the server did a great job. The only question I have is how the jaguarmeiser had slush in it. I've always froze it, but never slushy.”
“Adorable coffee shop! They offer a small food menu as well. The staff are fantastic!Parking: A fairly small (4-5 car) parking lot available. But there is some street parking as well.”
“I am a huge ice cream fan and Whippy Dip did not disappoint. I tried the walking taco and the banana cream pie ice cream. Both choices were delicious and the portions were generous. The food took a little bit longer to make than expected, be we were glad to know that the fries were always fresh. Loved the hometown feel and definitely will be returning.”
“I really enjoy this small town restaurant! The food is always warm, tasty and doesn't take forever to get. The servers are great. You don't have to wait for a refill on drinks; they are very attentive to that. The country breakfast bowl is one of my favorite meals. If I had to pick on something it would be with two of the pies. Their pies are awesome, but I cannot taste the peanut butter in the peanut butter or the chocolate/peanut butter pie. I think it might be that they seem to use some kind of peanut butter crumbles for the peanut butter flavor and that just doesn't seem to give the good peanut butter taste.”
“I had the pulled pork which wasn't bad it just had hard over done pieces in it making it harder to chew. The cole slaw was the crunchiest I've ever had I wondered if the used the hard core of the cabbage. My wife had a tenderloin which was excellent. The fried pickles were ”
“DELICIOUS PIZZA!!! The breadsticks were sooooo good! I recommend getting both the beer cheese AND the queso and you will NOT be sorry. The shop owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Be sure to take a moment to appreciate the beautiful photographs of the local community that the shop owner herself photographed. Thank you for a wonderful meal!”
“We got 2 milk shakes (1 coffee, 1 black cherry). They were made perfectly in the classic way with real ice cream. It was well out of the way but worth the drive.”
“My dad and I went in to pick up food for the few of us at the house. we sat in and waited for our food while we had a soda. i love that they serve cans with a glass of ice. the server was nice and held a conversation with us. turns out, my dads family had once owned this establishment. i was pleasantly surprised that our younger server was knowledgeable about not just his job but the history of this hidden gem. all of our food was delicious! burger was given compliments, my 7 year old nephew demolished his fish tail sandwich, dad's wings were to his liking and my pulled pork sandwich was amazing! you can definitely tell in every bite that this food made for quality not just quantity. even the tartar sauce had fresh dill weed chopped into it. i was impressed as well as proud of a legacy that i didnt know started with my relatives. the atmosphere is cozy and the quality shines there as well with nice sturdy woodwork and the bar top of pennies is beautiful. the staff are very welcoming and ready to cut up with you, as well as being caring to their regulars. i witnessed and older gentlemen say his good byes for the season and after he left, two of the staff mentioned that they should take him to lunch before he leaves. that right there goes to show that you have good staff who complete the experience at the oasis. keep up the good work everyone!”
“I'm in town visiting family--Picked up a large pepperoni with extra cheese Thanksgiving eve.Located right downtown in the metropolis of Antwerp next to the gun shop!Papa Oley's has a variety of sandwiches and Italian fare...pizza, strombolis, spaghetti, etc...giant cookies on the counter. The pizza had ample cheese and sauce...could have used a little more pepperoni, but wasn't bad. They use a conveyor oven and IMO the crust could have cooked a couple more minutes just to firm up. Still, the pizza was really good. Pizza was $14…a great deal and much better than most chain pizza shops. Stop in if passing through town.”
“This place rocks! Service is under 10 minutes from when you place your order. You are seated very quickly. Staff is so friendly. Coffee is good. The ice tea is real good. Omelets are huge and your meal will be filling. My wife and I split our meal every time and still have some leftover. I recommend the "Popeye" omelet. Specials are on the board as soon as you walk in. Prices are great!”
“Holy wow is all I have to say. My husband ordered carryout tonight from there and it was amazing. We ordered a large pepperoni and mushroom thing crust. It was perfect. Sauce was best I've had on a pizza ever!! It was cooked perfectly. We also ordered a large Italian grinder and they added banana peppers for my side as well as Italian dressing. It was one of the best grinders I've had since Lexys. Hands down. Also had the Bosco sticks. Omg. The cheese sauce that comes with them is a delicious bonus. There are a few pizza joints closer to us, but none of them we have tried have the same quality or taste. Plus the prices are affordable and very reasonable. Will definitely be our first choice from now on. Keep doing the darn thing guys. Thank you for amazing foods”
“Nothing has changed in this place for years, and there's something comforting about that. Small town diner feel with your traditional Midwestern fare. Keep your expectations in check and just enjoy the slow paced environment. My wife and I headed there after church one Sunday because I was needing a slice of pie (which is really the reason you go to Bob's) The ham loaf wan't as good as Mom's, but hit the spot. Two pieces of pie to take home after lunch and we were on our way.”
“Good food, good service and great atmosphere majority of the time. Biggest hiccup is hours of operation which is understandable considering lack of enough customers and dependable help these days.”
“This subway was really busy but seemed to move people through pretty quickly. Did great job making sandwich. Downside of this subway is that it does not use subway points or promotions because they are part of loves truck stop.”
“They have really updated upgraded and became a bigger better gas station and service area.Every time I see one on the highway I gotta stop and check it out. They have everything you ”
“I am bias because I love me some good times boneless chicken wings and the fricking burgers! Don't get me stared! Also if you get fries you better make them waffle fries! This place isn't just for drinks the fish is amazing too! And when they have chili it's a sin not to get some! Go go go go!”
