“Stopped for lunch today. My Boyfriend and I shared the green goddess salad, crab hush puppies, and the chicken sandwich. Aside from the decor being lovely and the bar/restaurant being super clean, the food and service was spectacular! Lily, our server, was extraordinarily polite and helpful with our questions. She was kind enough to ask the kitchen to split our order ahead of time which was much appreciated. The green goddess salad and chicken sandwich were amongst the best we have ever had. Looking forward to checking out their brunch while we are in town.”

“The famous Coney Island in Fort Wayne, Indiana is hands down the BEST hot dog place I have ever visited. This place isn’t just a restaurant to me — it’s a tradition, a memory, and a piece of my life that goes back more than 40 years. I have been coming here since I was a child. Some of my earliest food memories are sitting inside this historic little hot dog stand enjoying their famous coney dogs. There is just something special about this place that has never changed. The atmosphere, the smell of the grill, and the excitement of getting those delicious coneys brings back so many memories every single time I walk through the door. And let’s talk about the food — the coney dogs are absolutely incredible. They are simple, classic, and packed with flavor. The chili, the mustard, the onions, and the perfectly cooked hot dog all come together to make the BEST coneys you will ever eat. After all these years, the taste is still exactly how I remember it. Some places change over time, but this one has kept its magic. What makes it even more special now is that I get to bring my own family here. I now bring my husband and my children, and watching them enjoy the same food I grew up loving is such a great feeling. It’s like passing down a family tradition. Every time we visit, it feels like a little trip back in time while also making new memories together. The place itself is full of history and charm. It’s not fancy, and that’s exactly why people love it. It’s a true Fort Wayne landmark and one of those iconic spots that locals and visitors should experience at least once. The staff keeps the line moving, the food comes out fast, and you can tell they’ve perfected their system after all these years. After more than four decades of coming here, I can honestly say this is still my absolute favorite hot dog spot anywhere. The BEST coney dogs, amazing history, and a place filled with memories make this a must-visit destination in Fort Wayne. If you’ve never been to the famous Coney Island in Fort Wayne, you are truly missing out. These are without a doubt the BEST CONEYS you will ever eat.”

The food was amazing, we had so many compliments from guests. There was only one hiccup that was not their fault and they handled it so well. They truly care about what they do. Don Hall’s in Fort Wayne has consistently taken my gluten-free needs seriously, and tonight was exceptional. My server, Ashley B, went above and beyond. She double-checked everything, communicated clearly with the kitchen, and treated my health with genuine care. What might seem like a small gesture to some means everything to people like me. “I ordered cupcakes for my baby's first birthday party and had to postpone the order 3 times due to weather and illnesses. Krysta was so accommodating and understanding and was able to postpone until we were all clear and ready for the party a month later! When I picked up the order the shop clerk was also very sweet. The interior of the shop is SO CUTE I wish I lived closer so I could go regularly. We got a variety of cupcakes flavors and everyone at the party was very pleased with their cupcake choice. Very fluffy and moist cupcakes - highly recommend!”
