The bakery department is usually stocked up well with a nice variety of things to choose from. The majority of the items we have purchased have had a good flavor & we have bought those things on multiple occasions.

The store itself is fine, but I'm not too sure about one particular cashier. Isabella was my cashier. I came to her lane and she first had her back to me talking to her friends, the baggers I think. She wouldn't have known I was there had one of her buddies not point me out. She barely said hello and talked to her friends while she was scanning my items, with her back still to me. I'm not saying she needs to have a full conversation with me, however it would be a little more polite and professional to say "hi, how are you, do you have a Kroger card?" And I don't know maybe actually acknowledge the customer and not talk to your friends the whole time as if I wasn't there?

Don't use the pharmacy. The pharmacist acts as if they're doing you a favor, she always acts overwhelmed. When you not feeling good yourself, this just is wrong! They claim that they never received a script sent to them too get out of filling it, the doctor says but we've sent it! Go to CVS.

The store is clean, that's about the only positive thing I can say. Very little selection, difficult to find items because of the way they are stocked. Prices are very high! I was not permitted to purchase a $5 bottle of wine because I did not bring in my drivers license. FYI, I am a 54-year-old grandmother of six, and I do look my age with white hair! I understand and support the push to prevent underage drinking, but this was freaking ridiculous. And the cashier could not have made it any clearer that he didn't really give a crap whether I was able to purchase my item or not. Do NOT shop here, go to a different Kroger, or better yet go to Walmart. They have better prices

This is not a swipe at Kroger itself. Shopped at Kroger for years. The New Haven store seems clean. This is really about one employee that made two separate shopping occasions very unpleasant and hopefully management sees this. The cashier/bagger First name begins with Z is a total j**** Once to me and another tonight to a young girl who was training on a register. He yelled at her. Yelled to another employee 'who's suppose to train her. She doesn't know what she is doing." He was rude and obnoxious. The girl remained pleasant and though pressed by him with harassing comments was very nice to us. He gives the store a bad experience.

Get out to the car and paid full price, none of the sales rang up. The cashier was handed the Kroger card, didnt scan it, handed it back to my husband. He went back in to point it out and she blamed him and told him you should've swiped it yourself under the eye, have to come back tomorrow when customer service is open, and a comment about its only $10.83. I don't care if it was $.25, we were overcharged and blamed for the card not getting swiped. Poor customer service skills lady!! Poor job skills as well, you had the reward card you could've scanned it.

Where to start... this is the worst store and they seem proud of it, it’s a joke. Waited over 35 minutes to pick up a prescription. The two people in front of me could have very easily had their issues solved at the drop off window, but no one thought to move them down. Very frustrating. That doesn’t even begin to cover the everyday items they don’t have. Also, now the pharmacy door not able to be used. I could go on

Not only is the place busy never stocked and no lanes opened tonight at the gas station all lanes we’re full debit card on machines were down and the one person workin was on “break” sitting right there and refused to help anyone with 6 ppl in line trying to get help!! Worst Kroger ever!!!!
After partying at the bar all night I stopped at this store to pick up the few items my mother needed. Both the self check out and all the workers were very rude. I stood at the self check out after paying and waiting 15 god damn f****** minutes for it to process after the attendant kept walking by and didn't see if help was needed I flagged down a manager and reported my issue she claimed I didn't finish the self check out process and said I didn't know what I was doing. Needless to say I only ever shop at Walmart from 3-5 am when only the self check out is working so I have a good idea I know what I'm doing. Very piss poor Customer service

I love these bakery cakes for my kid's birthdays they always have what I need or are willing to help get it so its always just right!!! In 9 years they have only messed up once and they still fixed it!!
