First, you don't have to be a member to get take out, and non-members can eat in on Saturdays. But anyone can become a member and it's super cheap! If you aren't military affiliated, you can become a member. You just can't vote on matters. Second, their pizza is the best I've had here or in Florida (where we just moved from). All of the food has been amazing so far. Definitely a must try!!!

It had the potential to be the best pizza ive ever had but the layer of raw slimy dough is what ruined it for me really really undercooked and im not picky at all i had to throw off all of the toppings and finished cooking it

I'd heard this is the best pizza in New Haven, so I decided to give it a try for lunch today. When I called in my order the gentle man that took my order was really nice and welcoming and patient being this would be my first order. My order was ready at the time I was told it would be and again the staff was even more friendly in person. When I picked up the box it was heavier than I thought it should be for a medium pizza. When I made it home and opened the box, this pizza had more toppings than I have ever seen on a pizza and it was delicious! I will certainly be back again. The only thing for me is the cigarette smoke makes the place smell bad, but I can definitely deal with that long enough to carry out a delicious pizza.

Some of the best pizzas around. Saturday is open to the public night. There are plenty of TVs to watch the game. Folks who run the place are nice. The only trouble is that they still allow smoking inside.

Tonight was our first time at the Navy Club. A co worker recommended it. We had always thought you had to be in the military to go there. To our surprise it is open to the public. We have lived in New Haven for 12 years. We ordered a supreme pizza & garlic cheese bread. Talk about a shock !! We couldn't believe how big the pizza was!!! It felt like it weighed 10 pounds & we think it had every topping they have, on it. It smelled & looked wonderful. Our taste buds were very happy !!! The pizza was the best we have ever had in the entire area & the garlic cheese bread was excellent too!! Definitely not disappointed with the food & service. We highly suggest people try it out. We look forward to going again & trying more of the menu out. It has a cozy atmosphere & the folks there were very friendly!!! The only thing we were bummed out by, was the fact we had never been there before, after living here so long.
