First, you don't have to be a member to get take out, and non-members can eat in on Saturdays. But anyone can become a member and it's super cheap! If you aren't military affiliated, you can become a member. You just can't vote on matters. Second, their pizza is the best I've had here or in Florida (where we just moved from). All of the food has been amazing so far. Definitely a must try!!!
I'd heard this is the best pizza in New Haven, so I decided to give it a try for lunch today. When I called in my order the gentle man that took my order was really nice and welcoming and patient being this would be my first order. My order was ready at the time I was told it would be and again the staff was even more friendly in person. When I picked up the box it was heavier than I thought it should be for a medium pizza. Some of the best pizzas around. Saturday is open to the public night. There are plenty of TVs to watch the game. Folks who run the place are nice. The only trouble is that they still allow smoking inside.
