Rack & Helen's Bar and Grill

It was a little busy when we went but still got a seat right away. It did take the waiter a little bit to get us our drinks then not very good on refills as I had to ask, but after asking the first time they did better. For the food they had a steak fajita special. It was very good. Enough food to easily fill 3 tortillas. The vegetables were cooked perfectly. The unlimited salsa and chips were also very good. It is a typical sports bar type atmosphere but not overly noisy. Definately will eat here again.

We hadn't been here in a while and were surprised at the small portions. We ordered a full whiner which which is now $18.99 and it wasn't near what it was last time we had it. The bread was half the width and hardly any meat at all. We'll try again but won't order that again. The staff still does a good job.

Food is very good but has gotten a bit pricey. Ex: a chicken sandwich with fries is now $17.

The best bar in New Haven. Great food, beer selection, atmosphere and service.

Nothing negative to say, food is always great, service is excellent , great place to eat.

My husband just brought a pizza home from rack n Helen’s. It is undercooked and the pizza in the box looks as if it was dropped. Topping on the pizza were off to the side and not on the crust at all. The dough was almost raw! Needless to say, we did not eat it! Fire the cook! This was the worst pizza ever!

Garbage service sat there for 15 minutes no business didn't even ask us what to drink just garbage took are money where wanted

We went in to place a carryout order for my nephew and to have a drink while we waited. We sat at the bar and were promptly given menus and and our drink orders were taken. The service was fast and friendly. I had an orange vanilla frozen drink that was very tasty. My relative had a pumpkin pie martini that was decorated with sprinkles and whipped cream and had a very smooth flavor. The atmosphere was lively as a band was playing. The to-go order came out quickly. Our quick trip to Rack and Helen's was fun and the service was friendly. We will do this again in the near future.

Delicious food! I did the turkey club grinder and my husband did the BBQ Mac and both were delicious! ? Great portion sizes too. The service was phenomenal and they go above and beyond to help each other. 12/10 highly recommend.

I use a portable oxygen machine and need a wall plug-in. Tonya had our 5-top table set up perfectly. She was efficient and very kind. Our food was amazing.

Wheelchair accessibility: My driver was able to park right by the entrance ramp and that was great!
