Was pretty excited to try out this restaurant, as ive heard a lot of good things about it, but i have to say i was really let down. the food wasnt bad but the service was horrible. when you sit down you expect to be eating at the same time as the rest of your party, but they decided to take 20 minutes to make one of our party members plates, after the rest of the table got their food within 5 minutes. and not only did it take a long time to come out, when it finally did, it was wrong, and the waitress was making it out to be our fault! will not return, and hope the rude waitress learns a lesson.

My family and I came into Alexander’s for a special birthday celebration. The first issue we had was that the waitress was irritated that we were not ready to order our food within two minutes of sitting down. When we asked for a moment to look at the menu, she just walked off shaking her head. Once we were able to order, my boyfriend’s brother got a Reuben sandwich. A few minutes later, the waitress came back and informed him that they were out of sauerkraut. He stated that he would still like the sandwich but requested a side of coleslaw in addition to his fries since the sandwich didn’t have sauerkraut. About 15 or so minutes later we got 4/5 of the meals ordered. The Reuben sandwich was still missing. About 10 minutes later, I needed to use the restroom. Since the restroom was right next to the kitchen, I was able to see/hear the cook doing his own thing. I realized that he wasn’t preparing the Reuben but didn’t initially think anything of it. About 7 or so minutes later, he took the Reuben out of a cooking area and set it on the counter. He proceeded to drop half of the sandwich on the ground. At this point the waitress came into the kitchen and she and the cook were laughing about how they had both forgotten about the Reuben and she apparently only thought to come check the status of the food after my family mentioned that it was still missing. By the time I got back to the table, the waitress came out and let my boyfriends brother know the cook needed to remake the sandwich. About 7ish minutes later the Reuben arrived without any coleslaw and did not look appetizing. My brothers boyfriend asked for the coleslaw and was met by quite a bit of attitude by the waitress as she walked off. After waiting for probably 5 minutes, he was over it and decided not to eat the meal. He requested the waitress remove the sandwich from the tab. She did not state anything and just walked away shaking her head again. Later on, a manager asked if everything was ok. I let him know that we had not had the best experience with the sandwich, all five waters sat empty with no refills offered, there were no napkins on the table and we sat there for 15 minutes after everyone was finished just waiting for the bill. It was not the best experience that we had hoped for the birthday meal.

Honestly not impressed. Ordered a Rueben, got told out of sauerkraut so I ordered slaw in addition to fries. Waited maybe 20-25 after everyone got their food & still didn’t receive everything ordered. Waitress wanted to have an attitude after we sat down expecting us to order immediately. Checked in on food after a while waitress said the cook forgot about it. Terrible service for such a simple ask.

We had the WORST food here. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap, and the kids had a hotdog. There were maybe two whole small cubes of chicken in the entire wrap I had. Not to mention, the lettuce was the core and bitter and disgusting. The kids’ hotdogs were very obviously the cheapest you can buy and lukewarm. When the server Ruby came by the table, she was polite. I told her that there was no meat in the wrap, and she just said I’m sorry about that. When we went to pay, there was no offer to even take it off the bill. The ice cream was delicious though. Overall a disappointing way to spend money. I love to support local businesses but we will never return.

We stopped in Alexander's for the first time during our visit to Nobelsville square. We could not be more impressed. Gives you a small town atmosphere while being in a large city. We loved the atmosphere and the service was great. The food was outstanding and very reasonably priced. Will definitely revisit the Alexander's restaurant.Thank You
Quaint ice cream shop. My grandlittles love coming here. It’s a bit of a splurge for my budget, but the smiles and traditions they remember are worth it.

If you guys are ever in the downtown Noblesville area... give Alexander's on the Square a try. The food was delicious... the ice cream was really good... and their flavored drinks are the best...
