The food is always excellent. Grindstone's is one of my favorite restaurants. Our server, Brewer, was knowledgeable, funny and engaging!

Older building with historic ambiance. Fairly loud as you would expect for a 130 year old building but it made live music in the other room hard to hear on a Saturday evening. Wait staff was very good although we felt fairly rushed. Drinks, Public House Old Fashioned and Blood Orange Cosmo, were refreshing and well done. Salads of Caesar and House came out before our appetizer of shrimp cocktail. Our server was not to be blamed as she was handling multiple tables with most items served came with other staff servers. However salads were very well done. Shrimp Cocktail we split and was tasty as the sauce didn't clear out sinuses as some restaurants in central Indiana. Dinners of Ribeye and Bacon Wrapped Filet were cooked to perfection along with Potatoes au gratin. Overall food was great. Parking in area takes some time to find so plan accordingly. We would go back, as this was our first time visiting.

The grouper was excellent! Good service; app came late but things happen. Will return soon!

Prime rib was the worst that I've ever had. Had to wait on drinks and had to ask if we could order appetizers. I should have had them take back my prime rib.

We were greeted promptly. Our waiter also greeted us promptly and brought our drinks. He came back and got our order........ never checked back about drinks. Brought food to table and was gone. We again looked for him for drinks - didn't happen. Food overall was just mediocre. Unfortunately, nothing left me wanting to return.

Poor Birthday Dinner It was a loud environment. The waitress with the long black hair and bangs was inept. I don't know her name since she didn't tell us. We sat at Table 1. We had to stack our own appetizers plates to make room for the meals. Slow service. Drink sitting at bar for quite awhile before bringing it to the table. Bread basket small and had cheese on it. Chicken overly covered with sauce. Filet was nothing to write home about. We should have gone to Tiberon in Fishers. Always phenomenal there.

We had a party of 12 at 4 PM on a Friday. Place was empty when we got there but waitress took forever to come to our table and drinks took even longer to get. We had three meals that were wrong or missing something. I never got my salad and asked for it to be taken off the bill but that didn't happen. We were headed to a concert and with dinner took over two hours, I just paid for it so we could leave. We will not be back.

Great food, craft cocktails, and excellent service. Ask for Mikayla when you go - she will treat you right! We had stuffed mushrooms - HUGE and yummy. Did I say yummy? The French onion soup legit too. Wide variety and yummy. If you’re by a vent and too cold, they’ll cover it. 🤯
