Peking Garden Restaurant Reviews
I moved to Westfield in June & have tried several Chinese food places. This will definitely be my go-to spot! The woman who answers the phone and is usually present when I pick up my order is very friendly. Orders have always been correct and fast. I have tried all my favorites: shrimp with lobster sauce; chicken chow mein; steamed dumplings; pork egg roll; roast pork lo mein; chicken w/ broccoli; egg drop wonton soup; pork fried rice. Everything has great flavor without being...read full review
I've been visiting this exquisite hole in the wall for nearly 15 years now. It is the bar by which all other Chinese takeout is judged and none have matched up thus far. The steamed dumplings are like my friend's mother makes. The General Tso's Chicken is the best you will ever have (crispy, perfect sauce, absolutely A+++). In fifteen years I've never had a single mistake on any order. In fifteen years I have never had anything here that wasn't cooked properly. Consistently...read full review

Peking Garden Restaurant offers a diverse menu with a mix of reviews from customers. The Beef Lo Mein and Pork Fried Rice are praised as fresh and fast, while the Singapore noodles and shrimp fried rice receive more average ratings due to concerns about the shrimp quality. The sweet and sour chicken is a highlight, receiving an 8/10 rating. Overall, the restaurant provides decent pricing and a convenient location with ample parking. The dishes, including steamed dumplings, sweet & sour chicken, pork fried rice, and wonton soup, are above average, with some customers adding Bourbon Chicken to their favorites. Customers appreciate the honesty of the staff, who saved a lost credit card for a guest, and many find the food to be some of the best Chinese they have had in a long time. The place is mainly a takeaway spot, as there are only a couple of seats, making it ideal for quick meals. The lo mein is considered amazing, and the fried rice is well-liked, though some customers wish it was spicier. Many customers drive long distances, even 45 minutes each way, because they love this specific place's food and feel well treated by the staff, who often treat them to fortune cookies. The wanton soup is described as heavenly, and the noodles are seen as very tempting. Service is consistently good, and despite being a bit out of the way, many believe it’s worth the drive for quality food. The decor remains plain, but the food's quality makes up for it.
