We found this little gem by accident. We came to grab lunch after playing Tipton disc golf course and went to grab a late lunch at Crimson Oak...only to find they were permanently closed. Everything you want in a small town bar. Food was great, bar service on point. We were in town training and they stayed open so our cadre could have a little extra fun. Great staff, awesome atmosphere.
What a great surprise in this sleepy little town! I was pleasantly surprised with the ambiance, food quality, and busyness this little tavern had on an early Saturday afternoon. The burger was very good and made to order—easily over 1/2 pound patty. But the main winner was the pretzel bites with cheese…excellent. And as busy as they were, I can understand that the service wasn’t perfect, but overall, a great meal, experience, and good time.
