It was ok. Had a large hair in our chicken tenders. Also the chicken breast on the grilled chicken breast sandwich was really small. Son ordered king of the campus and he really liked it.
Nancy the host was excellent. Teresa was our server and she too was excellent. Attentive and super friendly. The food was fantastic! I had the Domer burger. Great charbroil flavor and cook the way I asked, medium. Highly recommend Legends.
Service was fast and lovely..food was very good, as usual. Our vote would be to dial down on the music volume, especially when there are not a lot of people in the restaurant . Thanks for all
When I made the reservation I had specific requests since it was a business meeting and none of the two items were granted. I think they need to pay closer attention tot he requests. Clearly, no one read them. Otherwise, it was excellent.
Such a disappointing experience! We were so excited to visit the Notre Dame Campus and from the pictures online and its location on campus we expected a cool, Notre Dame bar themed experience. What we got was a glorified, unwelcoming chili's. We came in at 7:30 on a Saturday night, the place was empty and you could tell wait staff was ready to close up. Very unwelcoming, never came back to check on us and food was mediocre at best. This restaurant has so much potential and should be a fun, exciting atmosphere and Notre Dame experience. Not even close!
Friendly service and steak was excellently prepared as ordered. Not a long wait for our meals, but they were not terribly busy on a Thursday at 6:45pm. It would be convenient though if they had a rear entrance - it's a bit far to walk to the main entrance when the sidewalks have standing water in a downpour!
Group of 5 women out for film and dinner- we enjoyed ourselves- service was excellent, casual food good - burgers and ribs, cocktails on expensive side. Easy place to catch a bite on way to sports or performances. Booths have wooden benches- ooh - a bit too hard! We changed to cushioned seating. Thank you.
All great except that their system didn't have our confirmed Open Table booking. We were told this often happens. There was plenty of space to be seated - but what would have happened if it had been full?
I think we had a server who along with our table of three had a table of 9 and then helped a group of 30+ later on . Sat around for 15-20 min until she came back up to get drink and good order ( said she would be right back ) Drinks, 2 waters and lemonade , took 10 -15 min to be brought to table and she forgot the beer I ordered . I had to remind another server , who brought it out 5 min later(2 min before the food arrived) . I never finished the beer ! Then one of our burgers was ordered correctly but delivered wrong ; we decided to eat it rather than wait for it to be remade. Food was awesome but disappointed with the server on this visit
Legends is a perfect pre game location. Like everything at Notre Dame, it's really well done on all aspects. The food was excellent, it was a fun environment, and the service was perfect.

Will not make this mistake again. We are not fans of going to established sit down restaurants to be served pre- prepared mass produced food. I would say this about the fish and chips. Legends fish is to Fish as McNuggets are to Chicken. Hand dipping is not that difficult. Culver's does it, for goodness' sake. This fish was embarrassing and flavorless. Fries were good. Pulled pork- meh. Pretty sure that was from a prefab frozen container with sauce added. Was there horse radish in the tartar sauce? If so, why? A Guiness should not have a one inch head on it. The fried pretzels tasted ok, but wouldn't it be better to do a really good pretzel made as pretzels were intended to be made? Overall, there is a disappointing lack of pride in doing food well. Even tavern food can be done well when someone cares. The app will not let me add the picture of fish that appear to be cut from cookie cutter.
My wife and I brought our 2 younger boys before a ND hockey game. Service was great, food was great and it was an overall great dining experience for kids and adults. Will be back soon!
We were sat right on time for our reservation but our waitress didn't come to us for 20-30min. She kept disappearing, making it difficult for us to get more drinks. We had to wait for a pretty long time for our food, one of the meals came out wrong as well. We went there because we were attending the hockey game after and the wait almost made us late to the game.
It was a good place to go with a friend for good food and good conversation. I=love the way they have decorated the place with Notre Dame Memorabilia. And, it wasn't just the things that you see all of the time.
What a great way to prepare for a Fighting Irish Women's Basketball Game! We had made a reservation in advance and we were seated immediately upon arriving. The atmosphere is outstanding, especially if you are a Notre Dame fan! We were immediately greeted by our server, who was friendly, attentive and efficient. Because, at a game earlier in the week, an opponent player missed two free throws in a row, we were rewarded with a free nacho plate and WOW was it good. We followed that up with delicious hamburgers, chicken wings and good conversation. The meal was filling, the service was terrific and we finished just in time for the short walk to Purcell Pavilion to take in another victorious game by the awesome Notre Dame Women's basketball team....GO IRISH... and thank you Legends of Notre Dame for a great start to our evening!!
