Wanted to try someplace new on this Sunday afternoon. Picked Mom’s Diner out of the blue looking for different places to try. Food was good, and service was good considering the poor girl was by herself serving the dining area it seemed. Probably the best chocolate milkshake I’ve had since the ‘80’s. We’ll be going back, I want to try their pizza, it looks like the pizzas we’d get from the local pizza place when I was a kid, hope it tastes as good as those did. I also think the butter pecan milkshake is next on the list. Thank you for a nice change for lunch with a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.
Came in town for Clog the Patoka and stopped here for breakfast. Had the breakfast calzone, breakfast skillet, and an order of biscuits and gravy - everything was good. I will dream about the calzone for years to come. Coffee was great too!

Neat little place. Road the bikes up,nice little ride. Ordered Tenderloin and onion rings. Very good,big Tenderloin. Had the corn nuggets, very good. Ordered banana split after eating all that. It was very good. Will definitely go back..

Well' we noticed it changed on our last visit but it wasn't this bad. Idk where these newer owners got their restaurant experience from but it seems they need a lot of help in the food service industry.The food here now is very bland, must all be store bought & processed stuff, its not homeade like it used to be? It took entirely too long to get our orders, it was just sodisappointing.Not super clean inside like it used to be, its really changed for the neg.We won't be returning, although it probably just needs better management? We're in no hurry lets just say that.Its been a good while since we passed through here but omg it was such a wonderful spot to eat at, the potential is here cause its last owners proved that fact. It always stayed so packed, but we didn't see that this time or last time we stopped in.All good things come to an end.

We stopped in to see our daughter at OCU. She eats here regularly on a college student budget. We enjoyed sitting outside in the covered patio area. Parking with a boat was easy. The food portions were huge! We ordered the appetizer platter of corn nuggets, mushrooms, and garlic cheese curds. They were very hot and prepared perfectly. Did I mention the portion sizes? HUGE! We also ordered the French Toast, corned beef hash omelet, and a breakfast burrito minus the sausage. Everything was delicious. For dessert, we ordered 5 scoops of various flavors of ice cream. Yummy.Our waitress did a great job of checking on us, even the "Boss Man" came out to check on us.They strive for perfection here and they hit the mark.This is a special diamond in the rough in Oakland City.
Parking: We had a boat hooked up and parked on the street with no problems.
Kid-friendliness: A small kiddie table was on the patio and chalk was provided to draw with.
