Great service, but the food was not good. All the meats were extremely dry and the pulled pork in particular had a strange aftertaste. No persimmon pudding available - maybe review would have been better if so? I was pretty disappointed considering how high this restaurant was rated online :(

12:30 on a Sunday. Another server took our order after noticing our server had not shown after five minutes. Otherwise all service was great. Ordered slice brisket and got chips of tough meat. Server said that was normal. Wife got pulled pork that was room temperature and meh. Appetizer was enough for six . Brisket (sliced) is what I order at bbq places throughout US.

Overall great local BBQ restaurant. In my opinion the pulled pork was more moist than pulled chicken. I couldn't decide which BBQ sauce to use so I mixed 3 together. I highly recommend the smoked sausage as a side. It was juicy, smokey, and slightly crispy for the casing. I would recommend stopping in.

Tried Porky's for the first time today, ordered carryout. First I will say it was fast service, ready within 15 minutes. Pricing was good, got alot of food for the money. Potato salad, Mac n cheese and onion rings very good. The disappointment was the bbq...got the sampler platter, ribs were tough. Ribs, brisket and pulled pork had no seasoning. Part of ribs had overkill of charcoal/gas taste. I was suprised as they are always busy, must have caught the meat on an off day. I would return to try something else off the menu.
Kudos to the chef for a truly exceptional culinary experience! My steak was absolutely perfect! Abi was the epitome of outstanding service, showcasing kindness, professionalism, and promptness.

Terrible food! Brisket tasted like it came straight from the microwave. Ribs cooked unevenly bottom side was moist top side very well done to the consistency of jerky! Had to fight the flies for our food. Didn’t touch the salad due to swarming flies landing on it. This place has really gone downhill.

I was supposed to get a medium rare ribeye and it came out over cooked, very very dry, and tasted and looked like a medium well. The service was fine but the food is good except the steak and my Mac n cheese came out cold.

I had their sampler meal. Three meat two sides. For my sides I wasn't sure what to have. I asked my server what she likes. Onion rings with there dipping sauces and bake beans. Everything was good. Keep up the great BBQ. Looking forward to coming back next time I am I the area.
