This is the best place to get coffee in Peru. They’ve recently started adding baked goods which just adds to the awesomeness.

City girl visiting the great little town of Peru and I needed an iced coffee! Not only great coffee, but great service. And they had lots of sugar free syrup flavors to choose from. Walking in from the street, the coffee aroma is heavenly!!! Support local!!!

Upon walking in, I thought the shop was cute. It was smaller than I expected. Not entirely a bad thing except for there only being two small tables pushed together up against the front window and no restroom. (Not that I needed one at the time.) I thought the hours were a bit strange, but I just happened to be in the area long before closing time which is 3 PM on weekdays. (6-3 M-F & 6-1 on Saturday as posted on the front door.) Despite seeing "teas" listed online as well as on signage on the door, (unless I'm blind?) I was hoping for a selection. The not especially friendly woman (owner?) at the counter said they only had chai tea and nothing decaffeinated. I asked for my second choice, a decaf iced coffee with almond milk. She wrote it down but then told me I couldn't have that because it would have to have espresso in it. (I'm still perplexed because the menu clearly shows iced coffee is available.) So, I was told I could have a latte. I paid for my small latte. The woman was in an area behind the wall behind the counter where you can't see what's being made. She peeked out a couple times to ask if I wanted whip or flavoring which I did not. She'd begun and finished my drink before she asked the person I was with what they'd like. I was nearly done with my drink by the time the drinks of my companion and a man who entered after us got theirs. I was disappointed because I really would have preferred an herbal tea, and my coffee was mostly ice and watered down milk. I added one pack of sugar, which it barely needed because I could hardly taste any coffee. (No sugar in the raw was available that I could see.) The latte also cost a lot more than the iced coffee I initially asked for. This shop is more expensive than another in the area I recently visited. The styrofoam cup wasn't appealing. Recycling in this area is difficult as it is. I really don't like throwing styrofoam in the trash. For the cost, I would have expected a better drink in a nicer and a bit larger vessel. Almond and coconut milk are available for the dairy free folks but do cost extra on top of what you're already paying. The lone worker wasn't exactly rude, but she wasn't warm either. She seemed to project an attitude toward the three of us as we each ordered that we should know the crazy options on our first visit. I'm still confused as to why I couldn't just have decaf on ice or why the man behind us couldn't have cookie chunks in his "frap" instead of syrup. But I digress. Spider webs aside, the bench outside was a convenience. This wasn't the worst experience I've had, but I see no reason to return. I don't recall being told "thank you" or "goodbye." Since it closes around the same time, if you don't want or need anything fancy, I'd just go directly across the street to Gabriel's for a cheaper cup of joe. Or better yet, stay home.

Great little place, friendly owner/staff. Good iced latte, loved the K cup variety.

Coffee here is amazing, we’re never disappointed! They usually have holiday flavors around holidays we like to try but my go to is the cinnamon bun latte and my husbands is the carmel latte. They also have lots of flavors of coffee you can buy to make at home in bags and k-cups.
