If you’re looking for breakfast from a can, and something sub par, this is the place. I ordered corn beef hash with eggs. The only thing I was able to eat were the eggs and hash browns on the side; along with sourdough toast… with jelly that took about 20 minutes to receive after request. The corned beef hash literally came out of a can. It was absolutely distasteful and something I could’ve bought from the store. My son enjoyed his Mickey Mouse pancakes, so there is a plus. As for the service, it’s gone a bit downhill over the years. The ladies never have a smile and pleasantries seem to have been a thing of the past for them over the years. Overall, I would recommend dining elsewhere when looking for breakfast.
Drive-thru.
Took my family to eat last weekend. We live out of town and decided to stop on our way up to Michigan for the weekend. We Had a $50 gift card that was given to us for Gabriel’s a few years ago. The food was ok everything came out of the kitchen correct and our waitress was nice. When we went to checkout the cashiers refused to honor our gift card and honestly were very rude about it. There was no expiration date on the gift card but their reasoning was they switched Systems. My husband paid for our meal and left without using the gift card. I called the restaurant to speak with the Manager who also would not honor the gift card stating it was posted in the restaurant and on their Facebook page for months. Again I explained that we live out of town and have no reason to follow the Facebook page for updates. I feel like this business pocketed a $50 gift card without providing any service for that payment. Correct me
If I’m wrong, but I’ve never seen a Gift card expire. After the manager said she couldn’t do anything to remedy this situation , I asked to speak to the owner or have him call me when he was available. She refused to allow me to talk to him and stated she would talk to the manager and relay information to him and call me back said he would be back in the restaurant Tuesday and it is now Friday and I have still not received any call from the restaurant. I am extremely disappointed in this service and will definitely never go out of my way to stop and eat here again.
I got the full order of biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs over easy and a small orange juice.

Gabriel's is ALWAYS consistent because I order the same thing every time I dine in. I order breakfast and I get the bacon and cheese omelet which is wonderful, fresh and hot. The waitresses are friendly and definitely deserve a pay raise. Support your local business. Have a great day and we will be back for some more yummy breakfast and iced tea.

Gabe's is in our hometown! We love some Gabes in our belly. Waitress staff is great, ask for TINA. She will make everything perfect for you. A true delight. Good food. Good portions. Clean. Breakfast and lunch only place. Also good place for larger groups. Sunday church goers flock there around 10am. They close at 3pm. So get there by 2. Enjoy.
Kid-friendliness: Crayons and color pages provided. Highchair. And boosters.

Not impressed.
It's the sort of place where the minimum suggested tip on the register is 25%, and it goes up FAST from there... I got an irritated look from the watress when I clicked custom tip.
Sorry, but I'm NOT leaving a $4 tip on a $12 order. This crap has to end. PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES..
As far as the food goes, it was..... OK. Just ok. Not great, but decent. Mediocre might be the best description. The bacon was nice and crispy, but I actually like it like that. Someone else might think it was overdone.
Probably won't go back. There's just not enough to draw me in when there are other places to eat nearby.

The owner of Gabriel says decided to completely increase his prices more than any other restaurant in the Peru area they have also gotten rid of their alcoholic beverages at the restaurant therefore I haven't gone in there lately he also blocks his lot off at night which is very rude to other businesses in the area that used to use it when he was closed so why does it matter
