there food is fresh and the portions are big . The service is excellent. There prices are very reasonable . I highly recommend this place

The only thing better than the food here would be the caliber of their entire staff. Starting with the manager and on down the line, these people are the absolute best. We ate here all three days we were biking in Peru and then came back on a trip to Michigan. We love this place and the people there make us want to return again and again. (Their green beans, salad dressing and cinnamon rolls are the best we have ever had!) This place will not disappoint. Can't wait to see them in their new location!

This is a cute little cafe. They do say that they have gluten-free options but not all the options especially desert wise or gluten-free so please be careful. They were very respectful of food allergies. The food came out really fast which was nice. I don't think the food was anything special. I enjoyed the baked beans and the salad. The blackberry iced tea is really where it's at.
Dietary restrictions: I wouldn't come here again being gluten free with an allergy.
Parking: They have a small lot. It's a small place though so it shouldn't be too bad getting a spot.

Great food. Just had the chicken Alfredo lasagna meal, and it was fantastic. My wife got chicken and noodle male with mashed potatoes and green beans, and I caught her drinking the juice from the green beans. Enough said. A+

When I think local eats, this is what comes to my mind. Food is made in house. Alfredo Lasagna and Meatloaf are always on the menu and always a good choice. They do weekly specials. Which is a good thing since you'll probably want it again.
The service is just another shining star here. These folk know how to make you feel right at home.
I'm glad this is in Peru and happy to spend my money here over any chain in the area.
I respect that it both comes fast and is a more natural option that doesn't make your card cry. The only bad thing I've experienced is when they rotate the menu items and my favorite gets bumped great food, friendly service. They also have a drive through option which is nice for when you want to be home.?
Parking: Limited parking spots but there is at least an overflow thats not very far but still an occasional pain.

We used Garden Gate Cafe's catering service for my son's wedding! The value is excellent! The food was amazing! Lots of guests at the wedding commented about how delicious the food was, especially the chicken alfredo lasagna, and cheesecake. The caterers were so kind. Picked up tonight's special of pulled pork. Ours came with baked beans and cole slaw - wow! One meal was more than enough for two of us and every thing was fantastic! So glad we had dinner out tonight
