My husband ordered the chicken and dumplings entree with two sides. He received a bowl of excessive dumpling broth with 2 dumplings, but a reasonable amount of chicken. Unfortunately, there were small bones in the chicken as well. When the server came back, I asked her if the portion of dumplings was normal (we knew it wasn’t). She said it was not and brought him an extra side of just dumplings to add to the broth, which was fine. I ordered the vegetable plate which included a side of dumplings, which I didn’t receive initially. The portion was normal for a side, but there was some chicken in it. It did not bother me, but I did mention it to the server because some people order a vegetable plate with the intention of no meat. She said that was a good point. I’m not sure who dishes up the orders, but I’m thinking that lack of training or awareness might be the issue. The server was very kind and responsive to the issues we presented to her. In addition, the vegetables served on my vegetable plate were also smaller than we receive at most Cracker Barrel locations. We did not address the vegetable portion size with the server as we had already taken up enough of her time with the other issues.

I just needed a gift from shop on my way to visit a family member. Although it was very busy on a Sunday afternoon I was in and out very quickly.

Forgot to take photos. I ordered pot roast no gravy, with side of carrots. I added carrots in with my roast. Delicious! Sausage patty was to crispy to eat. Biscuits and gravy were great. Fried chicken was good. Waitress was super. No wait.

We experienced the back kitchen staff fighting and arguing and then when we were leaving, our cashier "Brandon" was very condescending and to top it off, the other cashier was reprimanding and employee who was purchasing things at the store, about her apron. The restaurant was very pretty, and our server was nice, but after waiting our food, which we could have delt with, the other issues really tainted our visit.

The updated appearance of the Cracker Barrels is awesome!! Our server was polite and efficient! Food was great!

Wheelchair accessibility: They always make room for mom and her wheelchair (elderly) without making her feel uncomfortable.

Pretty disappointment in Cracker Barrel's business model direction. Higher prices, smaller portions, and the wait staff seem unhappy. The new chicken dishes are still overpriced, despite costing less than the insanely priced fish and beef dishes. And the gift cards all say "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas". Is Jill Biden the new marketing director? Personally, my brand loyalty for CB is tanking fast. Very sad.
