The manager is horrible started screaming at an employee with 10 people trying to order food. The lady was asked to come take our order and she did so she was polite friendly and was doing her job until the manager came running out yelling. Snapped at my husband that she would take his order we were in the party room listening to her yell. There is absolutely no reason to treat an employee that way in front of people or not! Food took forever cause it was chaotic with her screaming. The other girl who finished our order was great the guy cooking was great but if that manager keeps her job I'll never be back!

I'm surprised this place has survived throughout the years it has gone downhill in the past 20 years..staff is rude there's never a manager when you speak to a manager they treat you like dirt.. never see them wearing gloves or wash their hands got hair in my food numerous times.. 🤮

I went for the pizza that had BBQ sauce, bacon , onion and onion strings. They don't have it anymore. Got a pizza with half pepperoni/ half bacon, onion. It was okay. Ordered cheesey bread sticks and got plain ones. Service was all that great.

Ordered a pizza and breadsticks. The store contracted the delivery to DoorDash. They shorted me 4 breadsticks and the food was lukewarm warm and not cut. Avoid this place at all cost.

Whoever the man is that worked 12/29/2024 At 6:30-7:00pm answering phones is horrible!! I called to ask a question about my door dash order that was clearly messed up, gave him my account name and without hearing my concerns I was told to hold on and he never came back to the phone. GUILTY….. and did not want to hear my concerns I assume. Left me on hold for 20 mins, I hung up and called back 3 times and he just let the phone RING RING RING. Called from my other phone and he answered but hung up when I called him out on his customer service!! Why would you deliver the wrong order and not want to hear me out or apologize for it? This guy is bad for business and needs to be fired!! Thank goodness door dash gave me a Full REFUND. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM THIS PLACE.

We order lunch from the Plainfield location at least once a week. Never once, have we been disappointed with our order. While I can’t speak to the quality of food and service that the dinner crew provides, the employees that operate during the lunch hours, are TOP NOTCH and the quality of pizzas that they creating are great! The pizzas always look like you would see in the images when you’re placing an order. I cannot say the same for most all other Donato’s Pizza locations that I’ve placed an order with in the past. But what has pleased us about the Plainfield location is their consistency. Always positive interactions with the employees and always delivering us great pizzas! Your store is our GO TO, when it comes to relying on having a satisfying lunch. Thank you for that!
