I’m from Chicago and so the food was tasty but far from what I’ve come to expect from a Mexican restaurant. The chicken was kind of rubbery and lacked a lot of flavor that I normally get from places in and around the Chicago area.
After many years, and too many visits to accurately count, I can say this is my favorite local restaurant. To me, happiness is always found at the bottom of a plate of quesobirria tacos with a side of house margaritas. Excellent any day of the week!
Great food! The tortilla chips taste fresh but could use some salt. The rest of the meal, fantastic. Good portions for what you pay, tastes fresh and well seasoned, wholesome flavors that aren’t over empowering. The staff were friendly and on top of making sure everyone was well served.
