I am able to visit LJS in Crawfordsville, IN and Plainfield, IN. They are each "bare bones" but same menu. Served freshly cooked. Kind, respectful staff at each.

Stop in every so often for great fish. Today Mark greeted us with enthusiasm and joy He was pleasant to be helped by. He greeted everyone who came through the door while we ate. Nichole took our order as always she was kind and patient. We enjoy coming into the store on occasion to enjoy the food and people working keep up the good work guys!!!

We stopped here from out of town on our way home as our hometown got rid of ours years ago. The service was great, the girl running the drive through was very friendly. The food took a minute to come out to us but once it did it was hot and fresh and our order was perfect. We were very pleased with this dinner stop at a nostalgic restaurant.

Food was cold and tasteless. At least it wasn't greasy like the last time i ate There 2 yrs ago. It was during lunch hours and the drive through was badly backed up.. Only 1 employee, the shift manager acknowledged me standing at the counter after 5min. He did the best he could considering the fact he had only 2 employees working at the time. Didn't get a receipt at the time I ordered but my order only took the usual time despite the lobby becoming very crowded. One more employee during peak hours would have helped. I think this is the only long john silvers still operational on the west side. I enjoyed the clam strips snack more than the fish I purchased. The hush puppies were tasteless and mushy as was the corn. Ive been nauseous ever since i returned home. I worked several years at food service and i know it can get hectic at times, but food should be hot when served especially at peak hours. I would have spent the same at Jordan's and would have had a better meal.

I will never go back to this restaurant. I ordered the 2 for $5 fish tacos, and they both only had about 4 tiny pieces of lettuce and the sauce. I understand only having a half piece of fish, but there should have been lettuce! Also ordered rice, and it was hard as a rock!
