Pastries were good the pepperoni pizza pastry was amazing! Coffee was very bland and bitter! Could use more flavors but food wise was good

I bought a custom cake (lemon curd and blueberry) for my mom's 90th birthday party. The cake was beautiful. More importantly, the cake was delicious! Everyone at the party raved about the cake - how decadent, delicious and unusual it was. Big hit. Highly recommend Mamma Bird Bakery.

Drip coffee and a latte, no complaints. Also added apple cinnamon pop tart. Panorama views of downtown Plainfield.

The freshly made pastries are phenomenal! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They brew local Tinker coffee!
Not much parking in the lot behind the building due to “permit only”, however there is a parking garage down the road and some street side parking.

Was running a bit late, was on the phone and finished up a conversation. An employee came out to use the facilities and thought I would follow her in. Was standing at the door she walked in front of me and locked the door. This was right at 2pm. Not even sorry closed. 100% know she knew I was.coming in. So guess they dont want any of my business.

I was hosting my niece’s baby shower and couldn’t decide on cake or cupcakes. I decided to order from Mama Bird because they’re local and I’d heard good things about them. I ordered online and asked in the notes if the icing could be yellowish, for a Pooh theme. This is less than a week before the event. We got the cupcakes and they were beautiful, with the perfect yellow color. They went so fast that I didn’t get one, but the verdict was - they were delicious! Thanks, Mama Bird, for helping to make the shower amazing!!!

We stopped in here to get birthday desserts, vs cake/cupcakes. Total we ordered 2 cinnamon rolls, cherry danish, and maple bacon scone. The cinnamon rolls were delicious, we will definitely get those again. My husband said the cherry danish was very good, but needed something else. Scone was also good. When he returns he will order something new. The atmosphere was nice and inviting, and the girl helping us was sweet and patient with my indecisiveness.

I had an exceptional experience with the staff. Also the place feels bright and fresh.

Every time I come to get pastries or a coffee it is not good. Got a cinnamon Roll…had no flavor. Got an ice coffee and it tasted like there was no syrup put in.

I absolutely love Mama Bird as a place to meet my friends! I’ve been here a handful of times over the last few months, and their lattes are reasonably priced and they always have a great selection of housemade syrups. They also always have an amazing selection of pastries. Today I tried the birthday cake macaron and found it absolutely amazing. Highly recommend if you’d like a quick place to sit on the weekend or get some work done. ☺️

The employee here that made our coffee was sooooo nice! They serve Tinker Coffee here so you no longer have to head to Indy to get it. The place is super chill and there is plenty of parking.
