Mama Bird Bakery

I placed a first time order through TooGoodToGo since this bakery came up and I have always wanted to try it. Pick up was between 130-230 on Sunday 11/10. I got there at 215 and the bakery was closed. I drove 20 minutes to give this place a try and it was for nothing. They shouldn’t be offering something on an app when they are closed.

Great owner. While working in Plainfield painting the light pole she showed me the best customer service out of every place in that city!! Everything that's amazing as well!!

The cutest hole in the wall! Love popping in for a yummy fun pastry and a hot coffee. Good casual place to catch up with friends.

Simply amazing!! We got my daughter’s birthday cake made from Mama Birds and it was to die for! It’s looked simple yet elegant and it tasted superb!! Thank you for making her day! We also got some other tasty treats that were equally amazing!

Mama Bird is a great stop in the morning on your way to work, school, or anywhere else you may be headed. Fresh Coffee and pastries you can’t get at the major chains. The wait is always minimal so you can park order and still get to your destination on time. If you are a remote worker this is a quiet little spot to grab a pastry and catch up on email. The best way to access Mama Bird’s is off of Krewson Ave. Behind the bakery is a large parking lot that is well lit with plenty of parking.

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of options for even the pickiest kids. Cinnamon Rolls and homemade Pop-tarts always seem to be a hit with children.

I love their gluten free cookies! And their friendliness and kindness (especially at the farmers market) really shoes that small business, Midwest hospitality. I can't wait to go back!

the mama bird bakery is now my new favorite place for coffee and treats! i highly recommend the brown sugar cinnamon latte and the homemade poptarts! 💗

Purchased 3 dozen specialty cookies for my daughters second Minnie themed birthday and... they were BETTER than the inspo post I sent them! They were a huge hit at our party and DELICIOUS! 🍪🎀

It's a pleasant space. Wi-Fi is available. The food omg the food!It's the only place that serves yummy really yummy GF pastry.

Aside from their every day variety of delicious and fresh baked goods, they offer gluten-free and vegan treats daily which is hard to find anywhere locally. For my family with gluten allergies, it's so nice to have this bakery close to home. Their tagline is "everyone is welcome at our table" as they have a special invitation to staff and serve those with disabilities to offer a sense of community and inclusion. Their tables and restrooms are ADA accessible and they have the nicest and most welcoming staff around. I think it's important to patronize local businesses that not only offer a great product and have exceptional customer service but also to have a business model of giving back to their community.

I was overwhelmed by the amount of options and got an assortment of a select few home made pop tarts, cookies, & macarons. They also had a wide variety of drinks & the lady at the front was even offering to curate a drink to my liking. Customer service & this box that is no longer full were both phenomenal. If anyone is in the area and second guessing this place, definitely don't. Beautiful aura, great staff & I will make sure I go out of my way to collect these goodies. Thanks MamaBird!
