Food is good but serving/portion is inconsistent.

Food was good and timing was good. However, sitting there looking around, I noticed the decorative items on shelves were in serious need of being dusted/cleaned. If an establishment is going to have this sort of decorative items on display, the owner needs to make sure they are cleaned regularly. The tables and other areas were clean. I did not use the restroom so I am unable to comment on those.

We are done with this McCallister's location. We ate there on August 24 and were overcharged by around $11.00. The manager had to refund the overcharge to my credit card. We weren't the only ones who had been overcharged, several others by the same cashier. When that happens more than once the cashier should be replaced. We went back today August 30. My spouse put in their order and i ordered the potato soup. My spouse received their food, and I was told they were waiting on the potato soup. My spouse had finished their food and still no soup. We should have been told when we ordered that potato soup was not ready or we should have been told when they delivered my spouses food that the potato soup was not ready and would I like something else. We had someplace we needed to be, so we had them refund our charge card for the soup. This location does not seem to be managed as well as other McCallister's.

I knew I was in trouble when the counter clerk asked if I wanted ice in my iced tea…. And then handed me an empty cup to make my own drink after I paid. She screwed up my order, and my plain baked potato came out with cheese sauce and olives all over it — and then they had no more baked potatoes — because why would they plan on having enough baked for a Friday night? My choices were another food item (food issues pretty much limit me to baked potatoes from
their menu) or to wait 20 minutes. I think I prefer a refund. This McAlister’s has been iffy for a while, but now, nope.
Excellent service.

Everytime we get a take out order, there is something missing. Yesterday, we ordered lunch and I was in a hurry and didn't check the bag. No potato salad. Today, my coworker didn't get a pickle. There is ALWAYS something missing. We shouldn't have to dig through our bags everytime for our order to be correct.

Great food. Sometimes a wait. Good tea
Service needs improvement.
James (pretty sure he’s a manager) made our experience. I came in alone with my 3 year old & infant. He helped us with our drinks and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit.
I watched them clear 5 tables that were never wiped down. I thought maybe someone would come after to wipe them down. No one cleaned the tables, and new customers sat down to eat. Employees laying down in the booths. The bathrooms were filthy, I have been here multiple times, but never again. No hair nets and did not wash their hands before going back to work. What has happened to work ethic.
Restaurantji Recommends
It took 22 minutes to get pur food (I checked the time on the receipt when we finally got our food). My sandwich was cold (hot ham & cheese) and our Mac and cheese had been sitting so long it had a film on it. The drink bar was gross and sticky.
Lady is rude behind the counter.
Always enjoy this place
Even though it was the middle of lunch rush, the staff was very kind and courteous when I had a question about my online order. The food was great and ready when I arrived to pick it up.
It’s apparent that McAlister’s Deli restaurants are consistent with their menu and each store nationally. Never had a problem. I recommend McAlister’s anywhere in the USA.
