I’m originally from Maui Hawaii. I stopped by after getting some food at the Thai place next door. I am so happy to see Mochi donuts in Plainfield! It’s an island treat I grew up with and happy to see it catching on everywhere. These are better than what I use to eat in Los Angeles! Delicious, fluffy texture, and not overly sweet. Great job! I’ll be back
The staff is very friendly. Thought I would try something new. We got the potato half and half, and it was okay. I wouldn't order it again. The hot cheeto half and half was better, but I would just get it with the cheese. I actually didn't care for the doughnuts.
Service was great and the employees were helpful and patient. The “donut” is not a traditional donut and I think that’s why I wasn’t thrilled….think dry and chewy. $3.5 per donut is outrageous in my opinion. Maybe it’s just personal taste but I definitely will not go back for.
