Narita japanese restaurant

Walked in no body around . Picked up menu still nobody around , went further inside is a little run down not kept up . Where they make sushi had half eaten meal and orange peels . Not very clean. I left went to cracker barrel

I’m so sad. They used to be so good. Never a good sign when the place is empty the entire time you’re there. Bones in eel. Ordered hibachi. Got teriyaki. Not the same. Annoying music. Too loud.

The owner and employees are beyond sweet, his children that he brings to work with him are so adorable and sweet too. The only issue that I had was the cleanliness. I feel so bad making this review because I did see they were severely understaffed, but it was really gross, there was so much stuff just thrown on the counter. On the other hand, I watched him make the food and he is a good chef and food looked amazing. Genuinely, I will come and help you clean for no charge i'd love to help you out.

The food was overall okay. The crab rangoons were the best part, but the sushi was overall pretty bland. Very little to no sauce or flavor in the rolls and one of the rolls I ordered was made completely differently than advertised on the menu, and made with things I tend to avoid in sushi. They also played a skipping version of the same song on repeat for the entire hour and a half we were here.

I've been coming here for over a decade, even though on the last few years it has fallen off. Today was the last straw. His kid was listening to his device at top volume, really annoying on top of the music already playing. The whole place is just gross now, the bathrooms stink, they have old vinyl flooring sheet covering the floor in the entryway. There appears to be water damage everywhere...there's just no way the kitchen is clean. I ordered anyways, against my better judgement. It took him 20 minutes to make 2 rolls even though I was the only customer....they were both wrong. No attempt was made to make them correctly so there's no way I was going to ask to have them made again. I didn't touch the food and walked out. I've never done that...food poisoning waotong to happen. Pathetic that the doors are even still open. I guess we have to wait for the next family member to take over and clean the place up. Such a disappointment.

Absolutely disgusting. Friend and I arrived and noticed the filthiness of the place and walked back out. Tables were dirty, floors were gross and the guy who tried to seat us looked as if he hadn't bathed in a while. Yuck, don't recommend.

Food is not Japanese it's more like Chinese food very bland place is dirty service is really bad 😑 bummer im from SF CA I was hoping something good but I already paid so I couldn't walk out. STAYAWAY !!!

I went here one time and I’m never going back. The atmosphere just felt grimy. Seats were uncomfortable and the stack of furniture in the corner was very off putting. Overly priced food was served on unmatched dishware that looked like it was picked up from Goodwill. This place does not care about its customers, they only want your money.

Food is usually very good. Service was not a pleasant experience. Asked for a soda to drink it came flat when replaced the second one was flat. Informed server and he set a glass of ice water on front of me and still charged for the soda. Also ordered an appetizer, it never came. Luckily we weren't charged for it. It's not like the place was overly busy. One other table had guests

Unsanitary place, the kitchen is full of insects, and very dirty. Don't risk getting an infection here, other than that this is the worst food in all of Plainfield ?‍?
