I cannot believe I am forced to write this review after years of loyalty to Remes Restaurant. I have been coming here for years, never having any issues, and always expecting decent service. But what happened on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, shattered that trust completely. I ordered my usual, and as I walked in to pick up my pizza, I was greeted by a Latino woman with dark hair braided to her back, wearing a purple shirt. She her height was about 5’4. She told me she would go to the back and grab my order. I stood at the cash register, patiently waiting. Suddenly, the couple who had just finished eating approached the register and stepped in front of me to pay, even though I had been in line first. When the woman came from the back, she completely ignored me—skipping past me, a Black woman, and asked the Caucasian couple if they were ready to check out. I was stunned. I spoke up and let her know I had been waiting for my food, that I was next in line. But she was incredibly rude about it. She dismissed me, saying she could ring me out now, and then proceeded to comfort the woman who cut in front, saying, “Well, you have more patience than her, so I’ll take care of you.” How could I be impatient? I was standing in line the entire time, while the white woman blatantly cut in front of me. I have never experienced this kind of blatant racism and prejudice in any restaurant before. It was humiliating and heartbreaking. This incident has left a permanent stain on my trust and dignity. I will never set foot in this place again. They don’t deserve my business, or anyone’s, after this. Never again.

Ordered quesadillas w rice and beans! It was very good and I could not even finish the plate ! My companion order the fajita and he cleared the plate! The beans was a little bit nasty but everything else was so good! The waitress was really nice, asked us if we were fine a lot. Overall it was a good experience, and I might come back.

The Traveling Man
My first time here. I ordered the Meateater Calzone. It was large in size as seen in the picture. The ingredients were ok, nothing special. No dipping sauce came with the Calzone so I took away a star. The meal was just OK, nothing to rave about. There was only one other table busy and it's Saturday night which is odd. I might come back again and try something else.
