I had called ahead with an unorthodox request. I'd asked for the server to pour my date's water into a wine glass and to wrap a necklace that I had bought around the glass. Not only did they do this beautifully, but we were frequently checked on and encouraged. The ambiance was lovely, with classic music and perfect lighting. Im happy to say that this place is probably my favorite date location.

Got a deep dish Sicilian. As large as it is, It is nearly all bread. Very thick bread with a very thin layer of toppings, so thin you can see through the cheese on nearly the entire pizza!

I’m a loyal customer of sals… I come in 3/4 times a month for pizza or pasta , always spending a lot of money. Tonight I wanted to bring my granddaughters to one of my favorite restaurants for good times and great food, but our waitres was terrible and we waited for bread and our drinks forever and I ordered a beer that barely made it to me before our dinner arrived.. the food is always good. But service terrible.. so disappointed to let down my grandchildren… get it together.. we pay a good amount of money for good food and good service … and you should get your bathrooms up to par too men’s urinal clogged, women’s bathroom my granddaughter couldn’t even shut door all the way……VERY DISAPPOINTED SALS… your better than that

Amazing. Was at a funeral a block away and stopped in for food for the funeral. Met by the amazing staff. It was Hawaiian Party day. They gave our 3 year old 2 Lei's. The atmosphere is professional but historic. Amazing food on an original stone grill. Must eat and see!
