The Coachman boasts homemade food, welcomed by anyone both locals and travelers. I was disappointed with both food and particularly the service since it was midafternoon when I had a late lunch of French onion soup and meatballs, asking if they were homemade and told yes. All were ordinary but filling. It was the horrible service, which was unacceptable. The waitress responded to my questions taking my order then bringing my hot tea and soup. That was the last service or interaction I received from her with no offer to refill my drink, provide water or order desert. Another waitress delivered the spaghetti with a smile and a friendly comment to ‘dig in.’
While eating, I watched my waitress visit with others she seemed to know and observed her taking an order at an adjacent table, yawning in the process. It was the young man, who had been regularly circling the area checking for tables to clear, who asked if I would like a box after noticing on several rounds I had finished eating. The young man pleasantly gave me the box and I then sat, waiting on my check.
Suddenly, my waitress, off-handedly placed the check on the table with a hurried thank you, spoken away from me opposed to to me. On my way to the front entrance, a woman I believed to be in management, was told that the server needed further training. I believe in getting my money’s worth in service and purchases, whatever they may be which includes writing reviews, wheather it be good, great or below expectations. When it comes to food service, it is the establishment’s responsibility as to how they monitor the quality of the food and service.

The bartender was not really friendly and ignored some guests to pay attention to what seemed as local or known guests

I went to the Coachman for the first time tonight. Upon nearly finishing my French onion soup I bit into something hard. After fishing it out of my mouth, I found that it was part of the bowl in my soup, AFTER I had swallowed another piece. Upon further investigation, my Mom’s soup bowl was cracked too. I will never be coming back.

Great food and really good service. The breaded tendorloin was awesome. Met with a group of fellow retirees that I had the honor to work with for many years.

We stopped in on our trip from Missouri because we didn't want fast food. It was good food and friendly staff. Everything came out hot and the homemade ranch was amazing.
Friendly advice though. There is a pic on the wall of a WWII vet, a customer asked if that was the owner. The staff said yes. But the other pic shows he was 74 yrs old in 2020. So even if he is 80 yrs old, it's impossible that he would have faught in WWII. I'm not doubting that he served....just not in WWII.

We were coming in from out of town with a group of 32. They made sure we had a room with enough tables and chairs, were served well, and had great food!!! Thank you all!!!

One person in our group got a patty melt, not what was expected for the price, just 'okay'. I got a grouper sandwich that came with no bread?? Waitress thought I ordered the grouper platter, I never did get my mac and cheese?? Carrot cake was wayyy over priced. It's NOT $8.99 good. The pieces looked like they had been cut out with a fire axe. My wifes steak was chewey. And it took forever to get our food. It will be a while before I go back, if ever.

Such an amazing place. Food eas tip notch.
1. Get the meatballs
2. Get the Shrimp Cocktail - sauce is crazy good.
3. You have to get the Prime rib and do not pass on the potato salad. Trust me.
We sat at the bar, and had the chance to meet the owners (sitting next to us!). I cannot say enough about this place!
