The Prewitt Restaurant + Lounge

Love this place but the prices are high and the food is.... Disappointing. Me and my wife tried it twice and won't be back. I wou really love to enjoy this place!

Made a reservation for rooftop dining because of a Facebook post. Reservation accepted for the time we requested but when we arrived roof top not available on this BEAUTIFUL day. The idea of sitting inside watching Paw Patrol on the big screen on our first trip to The Prewitt was not on our menu. Decided to find another restaurant

I just came from The Prewitt Restaurant in Plainfield, IN. I would like to say, I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, I like that the restrooms were located in an area that nobody needs to search for, and our server, Emily, was phenomenal!! The food was alright, the short rib egg rolls, suggested by our lovely server, were really good, I had steak frites, my mother had a blt, my aunt had chicken skewers, and my son had a grilled chicken sandwich. Everything was pretty good, although we collectively decided that we could've ordered several appetizers and been a little better off. Emily took my rating from a 6 to an 8.5. Thank you Emily.

Awesome experience Visited my son at flight school in Indy....We visited this restaurant and we were awestruck with the professionalism, decor, atmosphere and service. If you're in the area you NEED to give this place a go...Prices weren't crazy but the food was great...

I absolutely love the idea of this place. I love the atmosphere, but I am begging you to please do something in regards to the food and the drinks so that I can continue to visit this establishment. Food is not usually very good at all. The portions are small. The drinks do not taste good and on top of all of this your prices are pretty high, which I’m OK with if it taste good. Maybe you should try to get the bar rescue to come because I think they could do a lot for you guys, I’m just saying.

This is a very antique pretty restaurant. used to be a Theater now a restaurant has a Giant screen at the far wall when you walk in.
I had the pork chops was delicious , service was very good. Had a very nice wine list and the server was very knowledgeable of the menu

Stopped in for a late afternoon lunch and we both had the smash burgers and fries- smash burgers were outstanding.
Fries were very well seasoned, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside(cooked perfectly)

Wow! This is an impressive place for the old downtown of Plainfield. Excellent menus. Food was fresh and flavorful. Wonderful service. Atmosphere was out of this world.

Freedom Concrete Cutting and Demo removed the old valt next door

Our server, Joe, made sure we had an amazing time for our anniversary!! His recommendations were spot on and he was phenomenal! Music bingo was really fun and the food and drinks were great. We will definitely be back!

Very much enjoyed my first visit to this establishment. They have an awesome venue, with a great staff and a wide-ranging menu. Lunch at downstairs bar consisted of a bowl of vegetable soup which was excellent and wings that surpassed my expectations. I look forward to coming back and enjoying more of their dinner menu and the upstairs rooftop experience. I recommend and will return.
