My son and I were in town for a couple of days to see the Union Pacific Big Boy train roll through at nearby Argos. We stopped here for dinner June 4th, and it was great. Very good comfort food. I had meatloaf and mashed potatoes (made from actual potatoes-not flakes). I have had several different meals there. The food reminds me of home cooking. They have great ice cream in the front cooler which you can order from your seat. I recommend checking the flavors before being seated.
The breakfast dish I generally get is well suitable for an extra meal to take home. 😋 It comes with hashbrowns, 2 sausage patties, biscuits and sausage gravy with eggs on top. Country benedict I think?
And since I like sweet also, my husband will get a plate of French toast. And we split our meals in half.
