This young man walked up the hill from his store, in a t-shirt (in 25 degree weather) to make sure everything was resolved from the miscommunication while ordering. WHAT!!?? Having moved to California several years ago, I genuinely miss a tavern style pizza. They’re almost impossible to find and even when I do come across one, it’s never as good as the pizzas I grew up eating in the Chicagoland Region. In Northwest Indiana, my favorite pie is still Aurelio’s. Always consistent. Always fresh. I’m simple: cheese and sausage. Can’t beat it.
They are Always so nice and friendly when taking an order. We don't frequent this often, but when we do it is always exceptional. 2 Pizzas- Canadian Bacon, Pineapple and Sausage, Pepperoni, onion, Green Olive.
