I’d like to thank the staff at Cappo’s! We chose this restaurant to celebrate my aunt’s birthday, and they did a wonderful job accommodating our large party. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious.
Thank you for providing such excellent service!

Cappo’s is one of those restaurants that never disappoints! It’s the kind of place where you feel welcome the moment you walk in, and it has that perfect balance of being casual, comfortable, and still serving food that feels like a real treat. The staff are always friendly and attentive, and the service is consistently quick, which makes the whole dining experience even better.
The menu has something for everyone, and everything we’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Their pizzas are a standout—perfect crust, plenty of toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. The pasta dishes are hearty and satisfying, and the sandwiches and salads are just as good. You can tell they really care about quality, and it shows in the taste.
Portion sizes are generous, so you definitely get great value for your money. It’s the kind of place where you can bring the whole family, share a meal, and still have leftovers to take home. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick lunch, a cozy dinner, or even just grabbing takeout, Cappo’s always delivers.
We also love the atmosphere—it’s warm, inviting, and has that local, family-owned charm that makes you feel right at home. You’re not just another customer here; you really feel like part of the community when you dine in.
All in all, Cappo’s is one of those places you can always count on for great food, friendly service, and a welcoming vibe. It’s the kind of restaurant that becomes a regular favorite once you try it, and we always look forward to going back! 🍕🍝✨

Our server Donna was the worst. She doesn’t smile she never comes back to check on you. Really shouldn’t have left a tip. Food was delicious. Everyone else was very helpful. Food takes way to long to come out. Will return for the food but don’t want that server again. I am surprised they keep her

We loved the pizza....it was delicious. We grew up in the south side of an ethnic neighborhood in Chicago. It was reminiscent of the great pizza we ate as kids.
The salad was fresh and crispy. Our waitress was attentive and friendly and efficient. Food came out hot and tasty.
Now...knowing that the fried chicken is a house specialty...it was different than the fried chicken I am used to. It had to have been partially cooked in a steamer then deep fried. After it sat for a while, it made a small puddle of water. The chicken sat in that liquid, it made the chicken soft. It lost all of its crispness.
It has nice flavor. It didnt even need salt. But I just preferred fried chicken with a crispy coating to be deep fried from start to finish.
But even tho the chicken was not my fav....I know there's plenty more menu items that I need to try. Cappos will definately be on my fav list next time we visit Portage

absolutely awful service!!! Our server Never once asked if we needed drink refills or checked how our food was. Will not be returning. Oh and also took an hour for us to get food when it was lunch and not even busy at all.
Took my disabled sister and blind Mom out for an afternoon lunch at Cappo’s . The waitress was not friendly at all. Very short didn’t check on us, had to hunt her down . Waited 30 minutes for our soup. Waitress said be careful really hot! It was Luke warm! The ribs were not hot either, my Burger tasted frozen, no flavor! Asked for butter , waitress pointed to the salt and pepper holder and said your butter is there. Just her tone, very rude. Not worth the money. Bad vibes, bad food! Not the Cappo’s I remember at all! Never again!
First time customer. Stopped in after a movie at Emagine. I typically eat alone and sit at a bar, whenever available. The bar at Cappo's is extremely small with packed in bar chairs. The customers at the bar were extremely loud and obnoxious, two women in particular were swearing like sailors. The entire restaurant was loud. Ordered a cup of soup, burger with fries. Soup and fries were ok, nothing special. Burger seemed to be from frozen. Lettuce was wilted, not at all fresh and the tomatoes were soggy, also not fresh. Prices are, however, reasonable. The blond woman tending bar was overwhelmed with orders but did a fine job serving me and others at the bar.
