Personally, I dislike McDonald's because not often that things are fresh or hot and greasy for me. After several hours of driving in Nowheresville with no stores but again gas station and a McDonald's. Drive-in we both had a big Mac meal, and surprisingly enough it was fresh, hot, and either we were just starving OR it was very good. Even more so? I can’t understand why this location never had coffee made in the evening!! There are two major steel mills nearby. Hundreds of people work night shift and you have to wait for coffee to be made upon request.

I find it wild that im doing a review for a McDonalds, but here we are. I have eaten at tons of McD's in Ontario, and never thought twice about the experience, but our visit to this location in Portage was exceptional. We were driving back home from Chicago to Ontario, and stopped in here to stretch our legs and get some food. Food was good, consistent with all McD's, and filled our bellies.
