Iron Skillet got rid of the buffet pictured above. It's now a sit down restaurant. We went to get the Special Christmas Meal on Christmas. The banner said you had a choice of three entrees which included a drink and dessert. We asked the server about dessert when we were finished and he said it wasn't included in the meal.

They close down half of the restaurant forcing everyone to eat in one section. I left...they wouldn't let me go to the closed section where it was quiet and peaceful. it was 3 hours before closing. I tip to good to not be able to relax and enjoy my meal especially when you have tables available and the section you want me to eat in is almost full except for the counter.

Steak was raw and it wasn’t just ours. MULTIPLE people had raw steak tonight. Also the wait was almost an hour and it wasn’t even busy. A truck driver was angry when we got in because he was waiting over an hour for take out. Our waitress was definitely trying her best though. WAY over prices too for crappy food. Almost $50 for raw steak. Avoid this place like the plague!!!!

Closes earlier than 10:00 if slow. Can't Even serve a limited menu for long haulers who are tired and hungry. Cookson servers will probably happy to go home early.

It won't be long TA and Petro are going to go completely out of business. Closed on Saturday? That is when most truck drivers get a minute to actually stop in and enjoy breakfast. This was a horrible business decision. I for one am never going to spend another dollar at this location. Not gas, not diesel, not soda, not cupcakes. Not a dollar. Really the restaurant is the only thing this location had going for it. I've been eating here every Saturday for 15 years. Now I'll never eat here again. Y'all better wise up if y'all like y'all's jobs.
Message on TA door said open til 10pm. Arrived at 9:23pm. They left us sit until 9:38pm. Employees took turn peaking around the corner. The cook/dishwasher even came around and left frontline shaking his head. Eventually a somewhat rude manager came out to tell us they were closed at 9:38pm. I do understand not liking a table so close to going home, and almost expected them to tell us we had to get it to go since there was another trucker waiting on a to ho order. I don’t understand having hours posted in a truck stop and not honoring them. We had been all day without food and were looking forward to something that wasn’t roller grill or fast food. If you are closed you should have something posted instead of picking and choosing who and when you serve people.

Good waitress, but the hash brown potatoes were half cooked and cool when served. Asked to have them fully cooked. Came back same as before! Biscuit over baked snd tasteless. The 3 egg omelet was ok. Very disappointing!

Portions are very poor here. In addition the mashed potatoes I recieved were cold, as if served from the refrigerator as leftovers. Service was good, for only having 1 server that I had seen, she did very well keeping up with all the guests.
