Waiting almost 2hr from the appetizer which was amazing Gumbo...to the Wagu beef which came out cold on the outside (yes...medium rare is cool in the middle) and way undersized in portion, I found this restaurant to be very inept compared to so many that I have been in 40+ countries and 47 US states. The place did not seem very busy nor understaffed. I truly believe an outside consultant could make this place incredible. The bones are there but the place is falling on its face...
Joseph Decuis holds a special place in my/our heart(s). Before, I had my first date with my now husband, and before we were married in the courtyard, I dinned there as a single or with a friend. The service was always amazing. It became my second home, but this one had amazing food. Last night, we had squash soup, the charcuterie, waygu, and trout. All were amazing. They also have specialty cocktails and scrumptious desserts, yum! The wine list is filled with wonderful choices....
Really good local food. Prepared very well, excellent, helpful, professional service. We had an extraordinary time! The setting was beautiful, and the food and drinks were perfect! I would definitely recommend!!!
