We pass through Rushville and stop here. It is the best Mexican restaurant we have visited. Great staff, great service and food. Wehave tried many things on the menu, and everything is always great. The shrimp cocktail is as close to St Elmo’s in Indy as you will get. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
We really enjoyed our dinner, but, also, noticed that the prices have jumped on soft drinks and chips & salsa! I'll have water from now on with soft drinks up to $3.99, and chips and salsa have gone up as well. Maybe I'll buy a medium coke at Casey's for .89, and then go to Mezcal!

MezCal Bar & Grill serves typical Mexican dishes with exceptional service, ensuring customers have everything they need. The restaurant offers great food, a family-friendly atmosphere, and is handicap accessible. The friendly staff provides a great dining experience. This Mexican bistro is a bit of a treat, with the street tacos and the juan and lion tacos being a must-try. The salsa is made in-house and has a great kick. The chicken taco salad is ridiculously large, and the freshly cooked steaks are a highlight. The portions and flavor of the food are outstanding, with the big Juan and lions quesadilla being a favorite. The service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable, although some minor flaws like the need to ask for a refill on drinks and the lack of complimentary chips and salsa may be inconvenient for some customers.
