“I never remember to take pictures before we devoured everything! This time, I think we had the all meat pizza. As usual, it was LOADED with meat AND cheese. They never skimp on toppings, including the cheese. I have been blessed to actually meet both members of the couple who own this place. They are both very personable people who take pizza seriously! I have had a great amount of pizza in my adult life, having been a GM for both a Domino's and a Papa John's. The pizza that we have had here far surpasses ANY chain store pizza I've ever tasted. Everything we have ordered from here has far surpassed my expectations of a small town pizza restaurant. ?”

“We were looking for somewhere to eat on the way home from the eclipse. A friend found BFM on Google, so we decided to stop. When we first pulled into the parking lot, we were not sure we were in the right place. It looks more like a polebarn than a restaurant. But we went in and were greeted by the owner. The burgers were great. I would stop by again if I was ever in the area.”

“I went to the Auburn fair and seen Elizabeth’s lovely table! It was beautiful with many yummy looking pastries. Elizabeth was kind, full of joy and kept a wonderful smile chatting with us. We got a pumpkin roll slice, fruity pebble rice crispy and a mint brownie. The pumpkin roll was to die for, soft pumpkin bread with the yummy cream center. The rice crispy was not so enjoyable, it seemed stale and the marshmallow was very minimal that the cereal kinda just crumbled off. We saved the brownie for later and got to it 2 days later. (Got it Friday night, went to eat it Sunday morning) Now there is no enjoy by date or specification when to eat it but I assumed the brownie should be okay, but when I looked at it, it was starting to get little green fuzzy spots. So unfortunately I was unable to enjoy it. I suggest a little enjoy by sticker or vocal eat it today or the next so nothing gets moldy.Pumpkin roll was delicious and my favorite and if she ever opens a little bakery to walk in and enjoy, I’ll still come by! “Loved the store , Sasha was amazing . Great antique store would highly recommend. Has every thing you can think of and lots of different candy . A lot to shop around. I did not get to see everything. Store is in grabill omish town”

“We had great coffee drinks and a giant chocolate chip cookie! The couple working were very friendly and nice. After getting our drinks and snack, we took our 3 year old to the kids area set up in the basement. She had a blast and we were able to relax while watching her play! “This is my favorite coffee place! They have the best Chai and I love their mochas too. The atmosphere reminds me of being in a Hallmark movie - just very calm and cozy. There’s plenty of seating inside, upstairs and downstairs. There is outdoor seating as well. They also have a public restroom. Overall just a great place to get some coffee or food and hang out!Parking: Free parking across the street, on the street, and on the other side next to the coffee house.”

“This is home-cooking @ it's best. One of the specials today was the volcano pot roast which I had because it's one of my favorites. The roast beef is tender & plentiful with gravy over mashed potatoes & on a piece of white bread with onion straws on top. Somehow that piece of white bread tastes so good with soaked up gravy & reminds me of my youth. Seasoned green beans with onion bits & bacon round out the perfect meal. I had the leftovers for supper & it's great reheated, too. Harlan Cafe has great skillet breakfasts, sampler, & pancakes & several different waffles done to perfection. Never had a bad meal here!”

“Place is a good place for a bit to eat and play pool. If want to listen to music, would wait till after 9-10am. Reason is the local old men,and farmers have their morning routine and you don’t mess with that!!”

“Sorry there's no picture. Whenever I come here I'm so excited to eat that I forget to snap a pic. We've been eating here almost weekly since moving to the area. We've watch this restaurant go through tough times and frequent staff changes and The ownership is changing as we speak. However, the chef has not and she's awesome! The food here is fresh, well prepared and plentiful. I've had almost everything on the menu and haven't been disappointed yet. This best coffee in the area combined with a real neighborhood feel make this restaurant a regular staple for many of the locals. My favorite item ? The breakfast potatoes. Whether they're sliced or hashed, this chef puts pure magic into those spuds, I could eat them all day. The new owner is lovely and after speaking to him a few times I can tell that he's devoted to making this restaurant a long term representation of the stereotypical Midwest food and friendliness that we've come to love. If I had to suggest anything it would be to update the decor a little bit. A little paint and some modern lighting would really make this place cozy and cute. But PLEASE keep the melting pot on the menu”

It was clean and the fireplace was really cool to see.Kid-friendliness: The workers were friendly and made my six year-old cousins have a great time getting lunch.
