“I visited the establishment out of curiosity. The enticing aromas of freshly baked goods permeated the air. An assortment of doughnuts, scones, cookies, danishes, and loaves of bread were on display. I made a purchase of two tarts, namely the Twix and the Briscoff. The Twix tart bore a striking resemblance to the popular candy bar, yet it surpassed it in terms of taste and quality. It consisted of a shortbread crust filled with a delectable caramel custard, topped with chocolate and a piece of a Twix bar. The experience was truly divine. I have reserved the Briscoff tart for a later occasion. The establishment offers a diverse selection of other delectable items, including cakes. I intend to revisit the establishment in the future to indulge in a sweet treat.“

“twisted sugar is hands-down delicious! my son, brother and i love to head over on a saturday to scope out the cookies of the month and their enormous list of unique drinks. highly recommend for anyone who wants a little treat to satisfy a sweet tooth, and the staff are incredibly pleasant.“

“My partner ordered me a birthday cake from Crowns and it was so good! The cake was so pretty and tasted amazing.
It was a dark chocolate cake with strawberry filling. Decorated in butter cream. In was moist but dense and rich, the buttercream wasn’t overpowering and didn’t leave a film in my mouth like others have on the past.
I am so happy with this cake.“

“It is easy. You get in and out with high quality desserts, but just a little small for when there is a decent amount of people there.
Parking: There were plenty of parking spots open, so you are able to park right next to the store.“

“My family had a surprise bday party for me Saturday & used her amazing cake & cake pops. The cake was absolutely gorgeous, & tasted amazing! And the cake pops were also so delicious! “Not only does Tammy decorate and create the most beautiful cakes, Joy assists to every attention to detail! They both go above and beyond to satisfy the customer; And cakes are DELICIOUS!!! 😋😋 Oh and I would never forget to mention that ALMIRAS has THEE BEST DONUTS ever created! Love the beautiful and tasty Valentine-shaped birthday cake!BANDS Sweet Shoppe is a state-of-the-art bakery that I highly recommend! A friend and I recently celebrated a family reunion gathering and we got a lot of compliments on the delicious cake and its decorations. The cake was so beautiful that the guests took pictures of it and asked us where we got it. Torie was very kind and professional and listened carefully to how we wanted the cake designed. “Everything is great at Marilyn's Bakery. I have been enjoying lunches there lately; homecooked beef Panini sandwiches, chicken salad on a croissant, plus homemade soups & deserts. A lot of food reasonably priced. Also, their homemade pies and pastries are exceptional. Support your local businesses in St. John.“
