Good place to look at the countryside and relax

We stopped by Monkey Hollow Winery and Distillery and had a great experience. We tried several of their wines and ended up enjoying a bottle of Vidal Blanc while relaxing with the beautiful view of the vineyard and pond.
The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, and it was the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the afternoon. The venue itself is absolutely fabulous and has a great laid-back southern Indiana charm. The staff was friendly, and you could tell they take pride in both the winery and the experience they provide.
The only small thing that felt a little out of place was serving the wine in cheap plastic cups. With a venue this beautiful and wines this enjoyable, real wine glasses would really elevate the experience. It just felt a little too backyard barbecue for such a classy setting.
That being said, we clearly enjoyed ourselves because in the end we bought a full case with several different wines to take home. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area.

Quaint small vineyard that makes multiple wines from dry to oak barrel to sweet wines. Venue is surrounded by grape vines and a couple of small ponds. Sat outside and enjoyed the view and the company of my husband. Great place to go to try wines and relax at the same time!

Awesome winery distillery!!

Nice place. Tasty wine but they have a neighbor that has an aggressive dog. Their dog attacked my dog on the deck. It was absolutely terrifying. The lady working the winery was very helpful. The neighbor that owns the dog never called me back. All I wanted was vaccine records. Beware if you take your dog.

We spent a couple of hours here this fall. Good wine, bourbon and live music. Would return!

The Elderberry wine is amazing!

Very hospitable. Git a short tour. Good bourbon and we sampled and bought some items.

Just visited March 8th. The wine was awesome and the live music by Tony Henning was an extra treat.

My family loves visiting Monkey Hollow, especially when weather permits outside seating for live music! The atmosphere is great, and we especially like the fact that we can include our young grandkids!

We love Monkey Hollow! Great wines and the winery itself is fabulous on summer days especially when they have live music. We highly recommend visiting and making a purchase. A few of my favorites are the Pear and the Apple varietals. They are a little sweet, so if you don't care for sweet, try some of their other varietals.
