We are staying in Salem and traveling back and forth to Louisville for a festival. We found ourselves needing a good home cooked meal and weren't disappointed at Nices. The waitress was amazing and brought us what we needed before we even knew we needed it. I had steak and eggs and the steak was delicious and well-seasoned. Hubby had b&g, eggs, toast and hashbrowns. The atmosphere was very homey with lots of sweet people coming in who knew each other. Highly recommend!

HORRIBLE!!!! we ended up with food poisoning the server was AWFUL she never came to check on us and was downright RUDE!! this is the absolute WORST RAN RESTAURANT EVER!! The prices you pay are too high for the amount they give you!! YOUR FOOD AND SERVICE SUCKS!

Great diner experience! Always happy with the food and service. Building could use some work, but that's also part of the "diner" atmosphere. Love this place.
My Aunt and I eatthere often and love the service usually. My aunt & I tried multiple times to call in an order and was hung up on every time. We had my uncle call and they answered and took his order just fine. Now pIease note my review is not meant to be a bad one I just wanted to inform them that their phones may not be working @ this time. Someon e there, please notify the stuff That we can hear them but they cannot hear us.

I really wish they would change their coffee brand. It's always got a funky taste. I know coffee, that's all I drink. Other than that we love going to this restaurant to eat.
Parking: They have parking but it's hard to find because they are always packed.
Kid-friendliness: The kids love the mickey mouse pancakes.
Wheelchair accessibility: People can go in the back door with wheel chair.
