First time I've ever ate at express china and I was not impressed. Not only did our server ignore us the entire time, the food was nothing fancy. Wasn't absolutely terrible, wasn't the best. Besides the fact that our drinks were empty after our first plate and stayed empty the entire meal. Our server never asked how the food was, if we could have more to drink or to take our plates until she dropped off the check. If this wasn't the only Chinese place in Salem, I wouldn't have come here.

I've been to this buffet twice now and both times have been pleasant. Even though I did not thoroughly enjoy the food here I cannot knock them because they are catering to the small town country folk palate. The residents of Salem are unaccustomed to the strong, complex flavors or genuine Chinese food so the way this restaurant's cooks prepare their food is understandable. The staff are polite and readily available if you need anything. Overall I rate this place as a great.

This is my personal favorite Chinese Restaurant. We drive over 25 miles to eat there, passing several other Chinese Restaurants on our way. They have an awesome Buffet. Several dessert choices are on the bar as well. Good service and very clean.

I absolutely lve this place!!!!!!! My favorite Chinese Restaurant this side of the Mississippi . Hands down the best Chinese food I have ever eaten!!! They have a great selection at a very reasonable price!!! Family owned, friendly service, reasonable price, DELICIOUS food!!!

Excellent food and inexpensive. A friend and I had a great lunch there. The food is really good and fresh. Our bill was $15.08 for the both of us, including drinks. The lunch buffet is $6.45 and all soft drinks or tea is $1.00. The dinner buffet is $8.45 each and includes seafood, also very good. The staff is very nice, an overall great place to go. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
