One of my favorite restaurants. I love spicy food and I appreciate that they let you pick your level of spicy. I wish we had a restaurant like this close to home, but still worth the 30 minute drive.

My wife and I love it here — it’s our favorite place to eat in Salem. The food is always great. However, today’s order makes the second time in a row that our carry out order was wrong. We paid an extra $3 for fried rice instead of white rice for both of our meals, yet we received white rice with one of them. This has happened twice in a row now, same instance both times. We will continue eating here — but will be checking each carton before leaving. We live 15 minutes away, so it isn’t worth driving back into town, but it’s pretty annoying having been two orders in a row now. If you order carry out, I strongly recommend checking your items before leaving.

This is the best restaurant I've been to between Salem and Scott's burg for takeout. They have a very nice dining area but I've never eaten inside. We started ordering regularly about 3-4 months ago (Reynolds) and it is top notch every time. I've eaten an hour after bringing it home and the food was still piping hot. I've tried what feels like probably half the menu at this point and you really can't make any wrong choices here. Personally I prefer the Red Curry-- but all of the curry dishes are excellent. Big fan of the Tiger Garlic dish as well. The gentleman who hands me my food is always kind and welcoming and my food is always ready by the time I walk in. Portions sizes are great. There isn't much more to say, quite frankly they make some of the best food I've eaten in my entire life. If you're looking for something to eat in this area I don't think there's anywhere better than Thai Lotus. 10/10

Great Thai spot! 5 stars for a great lunch special and kind, attentive service. Lunch special includes soup, salad, a spring roll, and a generous portion/serving of your entree. Super cozy and cute inside with the Christmas decor, too! Thai iced coffee was too sweet for my liking so probably won't go for that next time around, but curious about other entrees outside of the pad see ew (drunken noodles). Would definitely come back!

Honestly some of the best Thai food in the Kentuckiana area. Prices are good, quantities are plentiful and service is friendly.

A Gem in Salem. We come from out of town to eat here. Hope the locals support this rare find in a small town.

Used to be fantastic but the food and especially the service keeps going downhill. My friend and I got take out from here the other day and the waitress didn’t want to give us our silverware because we didn’t leave a tip. We were polite and waited patiently but she just walked away.Whatever your opinions are on tipping or not tipping for take out, that’s fine, but refusing to give silverware to a customer for that reason is silly. The staff is typically really nice. I’d never seen this lady before but she shouldn’t be customer facing if she’s going to act like that.
