Me and my boyfriend went into Tumbleweed around 3:30. We have always had good experiences here. We got the queso, but when we tasted it, it tasted old which was no big deal. We let our server, I believe her name was Pam, know. We were very nice about it because it really wasn’t a big deal. She said it was just house made, and we asked her if she could have it taken off because we did not like it. She very rudely asked us if we had ever been there before, we said yes, and she said ok, slammed the pitcher down and told the table behind us that she would be right with them. The table behind us asked if she was being rude to us, and we just said no because we didn’t want to upset them. They left. I went to the bathroom and as I was walking out, I heard her yelling about us in the kitchen. It was very upsetting. We will not be coming back.

If a Tex-Mex restaurant features burgers, steaks, and wraps, I would say it's not really Tex-Mex. That said, I ordered the enchilada plate with some chips and salsa for $20. Salsa was eck - tomatoey and thickened. Chips were good. Enchiladas were actually not bad, but had some weird gel-like something in the sauce. Rice was Uncle Ben's. Beans were probably my favorite part.FWIW, I'm Texan and have spent many decades growing up on good Tex-Mex to compare with.

I love the flavor and spiciness of the ground beef they use to make the burritos. Since I find all the authentic Mexican restaurants to be bland, I must be a Tex-mex fan. If you want your Mexican food full of flavor and spice, Tumbleweeds is the place for you. I just wish I didn't have to travel 2 hours to get to one.
