I really wish I could give this place more stars. The waits were extremely long, but that was probably because we came to the most crowded day in holiday world history. The rides were fun. But I didn't like closing, most of water slides 35 minutes before the waterpark closes. Some staff were rude. But this one lady was really nice. The more hostile people were younger which makes sense. I like how you could get free drinks really good addition, and the voyage a amazing ride. But they were closing the legend 45 minutes before the park closes, and the raven 25 minutes before the park closes. I'm starting to think they were trying to make us leave the park before closing. I think maybe if I give holiday world a try again they can improve, but until then I have to give 2 stars.

For a regional amusement park, Holiday World has a great variety of rides. There are some intense looking coasters for thrill seekers, but we steered clear of them. Our littles prefer milder rides, like the bumper cars and Gobbler Getaway. To be sure, this isn't Universal Studios, but it does the trick. We especially enjoyed the Halloween drone show at night. Very cool! Our biggest beef had to do with the lack of efficiency throughout the park. Lines moved slowly, whether for rides or food, due to poor line management and layout. Overall, Holiday World is worth the price, *if* you can get a hefty discount. We scored 50% off. But it's definitely not worth full price.

Holiday World is where I was jolted on The Voyage and forced into roller coaster retirement until the end of time but I'll never hold it against them.I'm a born and raised Hooiser but had never been to Holiday World! I had always heard about it so was jazzed to check it out. We went for the first time last year and plan to return for many years to come! What's not to love? The holidays are just so cute and thoughtful! They have Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and 4th of July. Each with themed rides! From the music to the flowers - they truly make each holiday feel unique and special! They have both rollercoasters and a giant water park! Complimentary soft drinks and sunscreen included in you ticket. You'll make an investment for the day with tickets being about $60 per person but it's well worth it! First responders get a significant discount!Pro tip: eat a thanksgiving meal! They have turkey and all the sides!

First time here, didn't know what to expect. I know they call it a wooden rollercoaster , you can see wood on the sides of the loading and unloading area, someone said to me that it wasn't really scary at all. I said OK ! I'll try it my first time here and first ride ever. /-- /---/ I'm glad I made it off Alive ! I'm glad I tried it off of a lie !!!! But I will never try it again ! Super fun! But not for me anymore.

I've been going to Holiday World for as long as I can remember, and it's a true Indiana gem. They put the theme in theme park. Free drinks on a hot day is honestly an experience-making offer. The Mammoth Water Coaster was the highlight ride of the day.

Free parking- Free fountain drinks (including water) w/cups-Free sunscreen (Australian Gold)- Attentive staff-Holiday themed rides, games & eateries-The attraction selections are plenty but mind the height restrictions & line waiting. We waited in line twice for the Watubee the second time was longer than the first time. ( approximately 30 mins or more) when waiting with children makes it seems longer for 2 mins of a slide. Most of the rides kiddo would have liked to ride were closed the day we went. There were long lines at some of the popular attractions & but others weren't long at all that we were able to just walk on them multiple times. The park was overall fairly clean, well stocked & some staff were friendly & helpful. Be expected to go a lot of walking & if you plans ahead & map our which attractions you want to visit, it makes it easier to know where you're going. Holiday world website has plenty of helpful tip & info as well, like they are completely cashless, all vendors & games, etc are 100% cashless. They do have machines/atm to convert your cash into card on site. A couple things we did notice is that not all bathrooms are touchless most are have the outdated sinks & hand dryer but they function fine. Also, they have a lot of staff focused on safety & sanitation, there were some vendors that were one maned & tend to get backed up. Once again not a negative just be aware that it's possible for a wait in service at certain locations. But come to find out there was power outages during the day, so holiday world is letting us come back! Which is awesome!

We visited Holiday World twice in 2023. The first time was Memorial Day and second time was Labor Day. Both times the park was clean, well maintained, and staff was friendly. Free parking, drinks, and sunscreen are nice perks. They allow bags, wagons, and outside food. I highly recommend bringing your own food. At peak meal times, food lines are long and portions are small for the price. There is a gluten free snack shack with a variety of GF options. Lines were not bad in the water park, about 30 minute wait for popular water coasters. The water coasters are awesome and the only ones I've seen (we've been to most US amusement/water parks). On these hot sunny days, the lines in the amusement park were short while the water park was open. The Thunderbird is a fantastic roller coaster, shooting you to 60 mph in seconds. The wooden coasters are huge and well maintained. I really don't have any suggestions for improvement.

The water rides, 3 wooden coasters, and you can catch Fourth of July, Halloween, thanksgiving, and Halloween all in one park!

Visited this weekend, and had an awesome time. As the commercials sell, the free soft drinks and parking were very nice. We did not take advantage of the free sunscreen but that is also a cool benefit they offer. We got there pretty early in the day, and were able to park fairly close and walk in without a wait. We immediately went back to the thunderbird to knock out the rides further from the entrance hoping for shorter lines. Overall, the roller coaster wait times weren't too bad. About 30 minutes or so each. Halfway through day, we headed to water park. The water park is super cool, but it was just a little too crowded for us. The lines for each ride were over an hour, which was a little excessive for a couple minute long ride. Their workers were nice and kept things moving, so I know it wasn't really their fault but that was my only detriment. We got multiple items from concessions and everything was decent. We got the digital picture pass and it was easy. Not sure it was worth the price tag, since not all rides had the pictures, but some of pictures were funny. Overall, we had a good day and I could see us coming back sometime, but maybe during week when it is less crowded

A place for family fun! One of the things I liked is the free Pepsi and sun screen. As I rode on the rented scooter, which was priced fairly, I was able to watch a lot that went on. One of the things I wish they did differently is to understand that many come from the eastern time zone. It would be nice to see more of the food kiosks open earlier. That is more only criticism, and it isn't that much of a big deal. Everything else proved why this is a good and considering other parts a good money deal for family trip.

Let me tell you, Holiday World is a whole vibe. For some reason we thought we could conquer the whole park in one day, ha! It has 4 holiday parts: Christmas, 4th of July, Halloween and Thanksgiving. On top of that, it has an entire water park full of rides. It has some really cool perks I haven't seen elsewhere as well: free sunscreen and assorted soft drinks all day every day. The park was also really well maintained. Us three managed 3 rides, the wave pool and 2 kiddie pools and we were exhausted. The Mammoth ride (water raft coaster) was by far the favorite and coolest water park ride we've ever done. We enjoyed our day! I recommend it if you find yourself in Indiana. Go with the Greenleafs

With the invitation of my sister, I travelled two hours to visit this park. Pros: parking and soft drinks were free. Cons: wait time for popular attractions and the need to maintenance them. The maintenance added 30 more minutes to allotted wait time. Also, some patrons opted to skip the line and enter through the exit and were able to cut ahead of others. I was able to complete four events before it began to rain around 7pm. Subsequently, the park was closed shortly thereafter.

I grew up coming to Holiday World and it's a true testament to Hoosier Hospitality. Yes ,the park is kind of in the middle of nowhere but it works. They have free parking when you get there, free soft drinks and free sunscreen! All the staff were so friendly. We came with our church youth group this visit and we had somehow left our tickets behind but they allowed us to fill out a waiver and then we get to send in our tickets by mail. I saw plenty of staff cleaning throughout the day and they always had a smile on their face. The park is laid out in holiday sections: Halloween, Christmas, Fourth of July and Thanksgiving. Then splashin safari is to the back of the park. You can cover some serious walking ground throughout the day. The food is a little higher price than restaurants but it is tasty and fast. We ate at Jungle Jakes in splashin safari and were surprised by the quality and the vegetarian options. Overall this is a place that I will keep returning to year after year.
