Popped into this place on the way home. It was a pleasant surprise. I picked a bunch of items to take home to my family and we devoured it all. My only suggestion would be to add a family style meal with a little bit of everything.
The dine experience is roomy, not crazy bright and clean. They have a bar too if you're looking to sit down for a drink.
Not the cheapest dining out there, but it's worth. Make sure you try all the sauces.

This was my first time trying this place! The food was good! The wait was too long ! Waited 30 minutes for our food. The only suggestion is to call ahead! I will definitely try them again!

I love big daddy's real bad but the scherillville location was not that good. I got turkey tips because the Gary location was out of everything turkey. The turkey tips tasted like lunch meat cubes. I didn't finish them. I just ate the turkey link I got with fries. I was sad because every time I visit home I go to big daddy's. I'll just go to the Gary location and if they are out of things, I just won't go.

Absolutely love this place and its food. Last couple times have taken around 30-45 minutes to get our food which is okay. Just waited 1+ hour to get our food. Ordered at 2:26pm and the food arrived after 3:26pm. While the food is always fantastic, the wait time is unjustified. Big Daddy’s has always been on my list of favorite restaurants in the region, but from going here since the location opened, it has take a maximum of 30 minutes previously. I would not have left a review if it has always taken this long, but the stark different in wait times is something to call out and highlight for future patrons. Looking at other reviews, the place was empty during the time of ordering.

I rarely give 5 stars across the board, but I know this incredible establishment for its other location, and this one is 13 minutes away from my son in laws compound. This order was going back to Cheeseville.For starters, the scent. Will bring you close to tears. I'm so glad the drive back home was no longer than 2 hours.The picture is a double rib tip order. Doesn't it look grand on the fine dinnerware? This is the real deal.

Really had a taste for some tips. Get home and notice they are dry. No sauce. Not even in the bag. Very frustrated but refused to drive all the way back because I do not live close. Will not be returning.

Big Daddy's BBQ is a hidden gem. The dinning area is clean with plenty of seating. I tried the rib tips with a side of collard greens. Both were awesome with the meat being fresh and meaty. The staff are extremely friendly.
