Thee Chicago Dogs, better than I expected. Fries were fresh and hot. I would have liked to see the restroom area cleaned. It wasn't nice. Plus a little more cleaning in the main area itself. Overall the food was good.

We walked in around 8:30 they were preparing to close felt pressure to take it home because they were acting like they didn’t want to serve us! We got our food Philly cheese combo Disgusting salty just nasty

This place is terrible and filthy. The food is never cooked properly and is cold. The staff seems to be miserable and seems like they do not want to be there. They act like serving you is so hard. Stay away from this place unless you want food poisoning and to be treated terribly!!!

I have been going for H Dog for years and they really need to know about the practice of Good Will. I arrived at H Dog at 4:58 and checked out the menu but needed to wash my hands. I came out of the bathroom at 5:01 and ordered. I inquired about the $2.00 hot dog price, but she said it was after 5. I paid without making a fuss, but it left a bad feeling about this restaurant since I never have experienced something like that.
Technically she was right, but I was in your restaurant before 5, anyway I got my order to go, and I was in my car when my wife called. We are having a football party, and my wife asked me to inquire about getting a tray of gyros and sides.
I was still angry about the one minute late and we ordered up the street at Bueno Beef. If there was just a small bit of kindness and appreciation (GOOD WILL) I would have gladly given H Dog my business. You can't nickel and dime your customers and think they will be coming back. How about treating customers like you want them to come back. I guess this is the world we live in.
In response to the owner, I only ordered two hot dogs, and this happened Friday at around 5:00 PM. Your response was not me, and the proper response would have been I agree, and we will do better. You have lost a long-time customer.

I was charged $3.89 for a hotdogs for my 2 year old grandaughter today. NO BUN, NO FRIES, NO DRINK, NO ANYTHING, JUST THE DOG! I was a bit mortified. And on Wednesdays and after 3pm during the week a Chicago style dog is $1.75. I'm not understanding how I can be charged almost 4 bucks for the dog only. Not very happy. I had the Cajun chicken pits which was good. But something g needs to be addressed about the prices for things like described above. Ty.

Ordered the Chicago Dog and an order of Jalapeño Poppers. Don't think it's fair to have to pay and extra $1.39 (with tax) for the Ranch to go with the poppers. On principle alone I won't be back. .25 cents maybe, but $1.39....hell no.

I have been patronizing this small business in Schererville since it opened more than 10 years ago. The food was always great and the prices decent, but tonight my husband surprised me with my menu favorite at H Dog( the gyros sandwiche) which was always flavored perfectly with herbs and spices ,always moist and the dill sauce was perfect, that is until tonight) The meat was overcooked and dry and some pieces crunchy, the seasoning was terrible and was bland as well and the sauce was tasteless. I was so disappointed as I had expected the usual. I just returned from a 5 week vacation in Europe the day before yesterday and was hoping for some delicious American fare. H dog left me unimpressed today.
The Italian beef meal was delicious.
